writing here - I remember so well first time I met

I was together with the great Steve Hed in our factory in Ourense - Spain and we got a call from wanting to meet for coffee that afternoon and telling us he was going to come with a young guy that he was sure was going to be a good triathlete in the future and that also was needing some clip ons and wheels for his bike of course 😇

So Steve and I took the car and went to join them in Pontevedra to bring him some of this stuff and there we found a very young guy called Javier Gómez that didn ́t talk much but as usual Ivan Raña did a lot for both 😀

We spent some time talking with them about wheels , aerodynamics and stuff till they had to go for an afternoon ride.

Since then we all have seen what this guy have done for himself and specially for the triathlon community. He is been a very inspirational athlete for many and his amazing achievements will be hard to beat.

Javier Gomez thanks a lot for your time with us ( in different eras ) we have been so proud to see riding our wheels and we wish you all the best for the rest of your life together with your family. We are sure we will continue to see you riding bikes and doing races too in a different way.

You ́ve been (you are) one of the best ever in the sport plus a very nice person to deal with.
