As I sit here, stranded in Guildford, all trains cancelled, due to a heat wave in the UK (seriously) ! I am enveloped in the river greenery, memories of the locks and lock ins and also that this is actually the town my club “career” began!

Bojangles on Wednesdays - Harpers on Mondays while doing my A levels with my fake ID. The sharp intake of breath at 16, every time the bouncer lingered too long on my picture, and the anticipation of the people in white gloves 🧤, raving, meeting people who I felt were sure to be in my life forever……

Getting my first car, being able to return all those favours of lifts, feeling free, and then extending my nights out to London, the gardening club, cafe de Paris, late nights at Bar Italia in Soho, an Espresso for the drive home, feeling so grown up and singing the Reservoir dogs sound track on the way home knowing every word and lyric.

Just staying awake for the adventures and drinking in of those late night souls adventures... pure magic & a trip down memory lane!

Grateful for this sweet diversion today and to sit beside the river and contemplate the full journey, to Balearic life ♥️.

Where do you very first go clubbing? And where? Entertain me while I wait for the trains to re start ! Or my lift to arrive ! ✨✨

A huge thank you to for having me as moderator this weekend.

What an incredible conversation, between all 8 of us on the panel : Music is medicine- the power of sound as a form of healing.

Starting with Huni Kuin composer and musician talking about we used to gather around the fire to sing and dance and how the lack of this in so many cultures causes depression and disconnection, the flow of conversation moved between music as a way to find expression with , a healer for the voice with , a way to promote nature as an artist to get her “paid” and put back from the music industry into the motherland with , music as a jail time release and way for people to feel free who are not with of in Africa, water as a force that also needs protection and talk of its vibration and frequency and how we interfere both in good and bad ways as humans in creating and protecting with , acoustic engineer Neus, and our incredible translation team.

An eclectic line up of guests under a full moon but some interwoven storytelling that the world needs to hear. Looking forward to releasing this on ♥️.

Episode 30 of is coming next month and what an honour to get a second chance to meet the iconic from .

Even though our feet look very large we had a great chat about thirty years of Reverance, how she still suffers anxiety about appearing on stage and the way she tackles it, how the band stayed independent and DIY and what a game changer that was and how life has been from the early rave scene to the reformation of the band entirely since the late great legend that is left these lands.

Speaking to powerful iconic women in music is always a joy. Hearing the stories and details of all the trials and tribulations they have over come to stay in their power and keep going, is hugely inspiring. Especially after such a tragic loss of the main man and the immensely talented lynchpin of their trio.
