This is the part that makes it really lonely.
Your life looks fine. Really, it does.
Okay job. Good salary. Nice enough days. Nothing catastrophically wrong.
So nobody checks in…. nobody asks.
Because there’s nothing to ask about — everything looks okay.
But inside, you’ve been having a quiet conversation with yourself for a while now.
About something that doesn’t quite fit… that you keep almost saying out loud and then don’t.
And what I’ve noticed — after working with dozens of women in exactly this place — is that underneath the quiet thing is usually a picture that’s very clear.
A picture of work and a life that is filled with ease, peace and something spacious.
Work that feels like it was created by someone who knows what they value.
Looking back and knowing: that was mine, I’m proud of what I created.
The desire isn’t vague. It just hasn’t been said out loud yet.
And you know what happens when you finally say it out loud to someone who can actually hear it and help reflect it back at you?
Within a year, future you is having a picture that isn’t quiet anymore at all.
That is her actual every day life.
If that’s you — you’re not alone in this.
And that conversation you’ve been having with yourself?
It’s worth having with someone else.

There’s a question your future you has asked herself to find meaning and fulfillment through work - that you’re not asking today.
I used to think clarity about my path was going to feel like a revelation.
A moment where everything made sense and I knew exactly what to do next.
A personality test that told me who I was meant to be.
And that’s not what it felt like at all.
It felt like exhaling after holding my breath for a very long time.
It felt like sitting in a moment and
noticing that for the first time in months,
I wasn’t second-guessing
every thought before it finished forming.
It felt like being more present and at peace.
Like something had shifted… not dramatically, just
clearly.
And the women I work with describe it in different ways, but they always point at the same thing:
A life that feels like theirs.
Where they don’t have to be two different people at work and in their personal life.
Excited about the day ahead at work too, not just on weekends.
Work that finally feels like mine… not something I’m just managing and performing my way through.
Your future self is asking herself exactly that question.
Not a lightening bolt “what am I meant to do?”
But a gentle “how do I want to feel in my work?”
More like a long exhale.
And then a surprising amount of relief about what you’re actually building toward.
That’s what clarity opens up.
Not a perfect plan… just direction, enough to start on.
And relief.
If you’ve been waiting for the lightning bolt and The Answer you might already be closer than you think 🤍
The women I worked with started their own digital marketing agency for holistic professionals, heart-based networking event for female directors, sleep coaching business for young parents, and training company for financial literacy for kids.
Or finally got the promotion to the director’s position they’ve been working for or moved into their dream creative department.
If you too are yearning to find meaning in your work
— know that it is possible, and available to you whenever you’re ready.
That future you is waiting for you.
Save this for a day you you need to remember 🤍

If you’ve ever googled ‘how to feel inspired again’ — this is for you.
I tried everything: the morning routine, the journaling, the gratitude lists…
I’d feel lighter for a bit, and then everything would go back to feeling off and without any energy.
I spent such a long time trying to want the things I was supposed to want.
Push for the higher position that was a natural next step.
Do the coffee machine talk – and try and not feel completely empty within.
None of it would work.
Because the hard to speak truth is:
that motivation isn’t a mindset problem. It’s an alignment signal.
When you’re doing work that fits who you actually are, motivation is present naturally. You don’t have to push for it.
And when you’re not — no amount of discipline will bring it back.
If this is where you’re at it’s not that you’re not disciplined enough… or that you don’t have enough clarity. But that you have been out of alignment and you need to come back to who you really are.
The clearest signals are simple
- You’re a different person at work and in your personal life
- You lost your joy, you can’t remember last time you felt lit up.
- You’re constantly tired, no matter how much you rest.
And these are not random. It’s your nervous system telling you that something’s off.
Here’s the question that helped me massively:
What would 10 years older me say, looking back on my life today?
Would she say, yes, that was meaningful. I’m proud of my path?
If you’re wondering whether you’ve been ignoring what your nervous system already knows try this:
Track your joy for 5 days. Write down every little thing, no matter how small, that truly gives you joy.
If your list is short or most of the things happen outside of work or on the weekend: that’s your clue that deep down within you’re ready to create a new alignment for your work and life.
If this speaks to you, comment UNSTUCK and I’ll send you the 3 questions that helped me realize what was really going on — and within a year rebuild my life 🤍
