Another step forward for Owen Salvador Egan.
We’re proud to announce that Alicante Football Academy player Owen Salvador Egan has signed with professional club CD Eldense.
Owen has been with us since last season, constantly developing through his daily work at the academy while gaining valuable experience in Spanish football. Last season, he signed with CD Betis Florida, where he competed in official Spanish league matches alongside his training with us.
This season marks Owen’s first year in senior football, and he has already taken another big step by joining CD Eldense Senior C.
After an exceptional preseason, where he scored several goals, Owen carried that form straight into the league, scoring a hat-trick in his first league game.
His performances have already earned him a call-up to CD Eldense’s Senior B team, which competes in Tercera Federación, an extremely competitive level of Spanish senior football.
What we appreciate most about Owen’s journey is the way he has approached it. He has continued to work, improve and develop without looking for shortcuts.
From training with us, to Betis Florida, and now to CD Eldense, he continues to climb the Spanish football ladder step by step.
