Today saw members of Summerside Bowling Club visit us, which has become an annual event. It was great to see some auld faces and new faces amongst them.
They always bring a good and fun atmosphere with them, and we always look forward to seeing them.
It was with a heavy heart that one of the auld faces, Ian "Big Broonie" Brown, unfortunately died this morning. Everyone passes on our condolences to his family and friends. R.I.P., Big man.
Before the guys kicked off today's drink/bowls fest, all the guys paid respect to "Big Broony" and even performed a huddle.
A great day was had by all with loads of banter and even some good bowling 🤣🤣🤣
It was great to see you all again, guys.

🏆 AT LEAST THERE WAS A DECENT PLAYER BETWEEN THEM… 😂

That was the running joke at Monday’s Fun Summer Tournament, with Liz Greenwood and her partner Alan Pringle both playing. Liz settled the matter by winning the competition. Alan may have to hear that line a few more times yet. 😏

Today was a HOT one down at Tenerife Green Bowls, but that didn’t stop the action! 🔥

With Graham temporarily on the sidelines, the show had to go on — and go on it did! 💪😂

It was a closely fought game right to the very end, with the result coming down to the measure… and after all the bowls were checked, Jenny was our very worthy winner! 🏆👏
