A crashed kite isn’t the end of your session; it’s just part of the ride! If you want to get your kite back in the air effortlessly without draining your energy, lock in these 4 golden steps:

🏄‍♂️ For Water Re-launch
1️⃣ Sheet Out Immediately: Let go of the bar! Give the kite space to float and drift onto its leading edge.
2️⃣ One Line Only: Grab ONE steering line (the float above the bar) and pull it gently toward your hip. Hold it steady!
3️⃣ Wait for the Wingtip: Let the kite « walk » to the edge of the wind window until it rests on its side. Patience is key! ⏳
4️⃣ Gentle Lift: Once it’s at 3 or 9 o’clock, give that line a final nudge to lift it off the water. Smooth, not aggressive! 🚀 to avoid the back stall.

1️⃣ NOT Sheet In: Keep the bar pushed out!
2️⃣ Launch ONLY at the Edge: To clear the power zone, the pilot must physically walk towards the edge of the wind window. (3 or 9 o’clock). Do

3 tips for your waterstart

The waterstart is one of the biggest milestones in your kite journey.

1️⃣ Wait for the pull
Don’t rush. Let the kite lift and pull you before standing up.

2️⃣ Point the board slightly downwind
This makes getting up much easier.

3️⃣ Stand up slowly
Don’t jump up. Let the kite do the work while you smoothly rise onto the board.
