PLAY YOUR PART. 🔥

Safer sport is a shared responsibility.

On 8 August, Safe Sport Day, we join the global sporting community in recognising that everyone has a role to play in creating safer sporting environments.

At IGNITX, Safeguarding in Sport is one of our core focus streams. We work with sports organisations and event organisers to strengthen safeguarding practices and turn commitment into meaningful action.

Because safeguarding cannot simply exist in a policy.

It needs to be understood.
It needs to be practised.
It needs to be part of how we plan, lead and deliver sport.

Playing your part can start with one action:

👂 Listen to athletes and participants
🔍 Review your safeguarding practices
🗣️ Start a conversation
🛡️ Strengthen reporting pathways
🤝 Help others understand their role

Whether competing, coaching, officiating, volunteering or working behind the scenes, we all have a part to play.

Stand up. Speak out. Play your part.

“The barriers are operational, not ideological.”

One of the most encouraging findings from the 2026 Global Safeguarding in Sport Survey is that sport organisations increasingly recognise the importance of safeguarding.

As , Managing Partner of IGNITX, explains, the challenge now is implementation: funding, people, governance, expertise and operational capacity.

To bring the findings to a wider audience, IGNITX also hosted a webinar with representatives from and Re.Events.

Last week, our Co-Founder and Managing Partner, , represented IGNITX at the .poweredby.microsoft APAC Summit in Singapore. 🇸🇬

Two days of ideas, conversations and connections around sport, technology, innovation and where the industry is heading next.

A few highlights for us:

🚀 The member showcases were a good reminder that IGNITX also has its own technology-driven solutions, including Extranet and iSCHEDULE, that we would be proud to share with the GSIC community in the future.

🎤 Neo joined the panel “Levelling The Playing Field: The New Female Age of Athleticism, Culture and Economics” with Jasper Donat, Ian Agisti Dewi Rani and Iris Cordoba Mondejar.

🤝 The summit was also a chance to reconnect with the wider IGNITX network, from IGNITX Summit speakers and presenters to Spark Zone featured companies and partners such as Fortress and IPSEM Squared.

A big thank you to GSIC, for creating such a valuable space for learning, connection and exchange.

Plenty to take back, think through and build on. 🔥

Data collection should never be “collect first, think later.” 📊

In Episode 1 of Fireside Chats by IGNITX, Yvonne D**g from Re.Events reminds us that good data starts with a clear strategy:

🔹 What data do we need?
🔹 What questions are we trying to answer?
🔹 What format should the data follow?
🔹 Who needs to be aligned before collection starts?

Because data only delivers when it is planned with purpose.

Catch this insight from Data that Delivers, our first Fireside Chat by IGNITX. 🎙️

IGNITX at GSIC Summit APAC 2026 🇸🇬

We are proud to share that our Co-Founder and Managing Partner, , will be speaking at the GSIC Summit APAC 2026 in Singapore.

Neo will join the panel “Levelling The Playing Field: The New Female Age of Athleticism, Culture and Economics”, exploring how women’s sport is shaping culture, driving commercial growth and influencing the wider sport ecosystem.

For IGNITX, this conversation feels especially meaningful. As a company led by four women working across the sport events industry, we know that representation in leadership matters.

Our work spans all types of sport events, often behind the scenes, creating the conditions for sport to be delivered with professionalism, care and efficiency. We are proud to see Neo bring that operational lens to this important conversation.

Thank you to and .poweredby.microsoft for the opportunity!

We are proud to announce a new collaboration with Safe Sport International (SSI) and Re.Events to deliver the Global Safeguarding in Sport Survey 2026.

This initiative is designed to generate structured insight into how safeguarding systems are implemented across sport organisations worldwide.

Our combined expertise drives this forward:
🏟️ IGNITX leads the design and operational delivery of safeguarding, governance frameworks, and sport event systems.

📊 Re.Events utilizes advanced data intelligence to transform raw survey responses into structured, actionable global insights.

📣 Safe Sport International facilitates global dialogue and will host the findings at the SSI Global Conference 2026 in South Africa! 🇿🇦

Who should take part?
The survey evaluates the maturity of safeguarding frameworks—from reporting to case management—across three levels of global sport governance:

🟢 National Olympic Committees (NOCs)
🔵 International Federations (IFs)
🔴 National Federations (NFs)

We are committed to transparency. The final report will be made publicly available, free of charge, to help the sport sector move from intention to measurable progress.
