🏁 Make-A-Wish Foundation – Drive for Wishes 2026
💜 6 Hours for a Cause
Driver: Aidan Millward 🇬🇧
⏱ Qualifying: P3
🏁 Race Finish: P4
Brabham team member and YouTuber Aidan Millward took on the full six-hour challenge solo in this year’s Drive for Wishes event — bringing the car home in an outstanding P4.
At one stage Aidan went a lap down following contact, but fought back into contention in a thrilling finish where the top four were separated by just 7 seconds after six hours of racing.
More importantly, Aidan personally raised $570, contributing to an overall event total exceeding $14,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
While results are always nice, this event is about something far bigger than racing. We are incredibly proud to see our drivers using sim racing as a platform to support meaningful causes and make a real-world impact.
Well done 👏

Race 1 – Kevin Weeda (Am) began the race in 12th position. There was an incident before the fleet got to the first corner. Fortunately, Weeda was able to steer through cars going left and right ahead of him and emerged unscathed. Weeda eventually pulled the Brabham BT63 GT2 concept up to 9th position, recording his fastest lap of 1:34.184 along the way, before the driver change on Lap 12.
Anders Fjordbach (Pro) took the wheel and immediately set a cracking pace, recording purple sectors on his first three laps, and a purple (fastest) lap of 1:31:853 on his second lap. He would later out-do this time, recording a 1:31.572 on lap 24. Fjordbach drove the car all the way up to 2nd place before having to re-enter pit lane for a penalty near the end of the race. The Brabham eventually finished in 9th position.
Once again, the Brabham proves itself to be reliable and extremely quick. But once again, the silverware proves elusive.
Race 2 is at 1115 CET, 1015 GMT, 1915 AST on Sunday.

Speed and stormclouds – that sums up our weekend at Round 1 of the Fanatec GT2 European Series at Imola.
Race 2 saw the Brabham BT63 GT2 Concept post the two fastest laps of the race at the hands of Anders Fjordbach. Starting from 5th on the grid, Fjordbach survived three early scares to move into 4th and post a scintillating 1:42.983 on lap 8. That would prove to be the fastest lap amongst all GT2 cars, all weekend.
Kevin Weeda took the reins with 20 minutes left to race and was running a full 5 seconds per lap faster than he did in Race 1, holding on to 5th position until a crash 5 minutes before the race was due to finish. The race was then red-flagged. Concluded. The BT63 was awarded 5th position, a fitting return for effort amid a bittersweet weekend of racing.
A full report will be forthcoming shortly.

Race 1 from Imola – The Brabham BT63 GT2 Concept started at the rear of the field, based on the finishing order in Qualifying 1, the previous day. Co-driver Kevin Weeda drove first, taking the car from last position to 11th in damp conditions.
The pit window opened for Pro driver, Anders Fjordbach, halfway through the 50 minute race. Fjordbach immediately began clawing his way back to the field, posting the second-fastest lap of the race on lap 20 as he did so (only 5 one-thousandths from equaling the fastest lap). Alas, he was too far back to make an impression in terms of placings, but Fjordbach proved that the BT63 was capable of being on pace with the best in the field.
The BT63 finished in 10th position over all, 5th in class.
Race 2 is at 1030 on Sunday April 3rd, local CET time. That’s 0930 GMT, and 1900 in Adelaide.

The Brabham BT63 wearing the number "1" improved lap times consistently through the session as the car bedded in, finishing mid-field with a 1.46:882 fastest lap - on the last lap of the session.
Session 2 begins at 1340 local time (1240 GMT). There is no live video for practice sessions but live timing IS available at the link in our bio.
