I didn’t go there for attention. I went to drive as well as I could and learn something new on every lap.
It has been the same thing since I first sat in a rally car at four years old: every time has to be better than the last.
I don’t talk much. I drive more. I remember every mistake more clearly than the good moments, and that’s exactly where the improvement comes from.
Valencia was proof again that the work pays off slowly.
Not in one weekend, but week by week.
