PowerPutt Ladies Open is back! We are the most approachable women's and girls' disc golf competition Registering for the event also takes place in Metrix.

Are you a woman or a girl disc golf enthusiast still waiting for courage to attend your first competition? Or perhaps you play disc golf professionally and want to be involved in growing the sport among ladies? Or maybe you already have competition experience and would love to catch up with old friend

s in a relaxed athmosphere? Whoever you are, this event is built for you ❤️

We have divisions for everyone from beginners to pros and from juniors to masters (=age groups above 40 years old). If you're a first time competitor, your division will be Beginner (metrix rating 0) or your relevant age group. You can find the divisions on our Disc Golf Metrix page, linked on the page info. You will need to set up a free of charge account to Metrix to enter the competition. You don't need a PDGA license to attend. The event is held in the legendary Heinola DiscGolfPark World (better known as Kippis, or Kippasuo), where they have two full length courses to fit both experienced and novice players. The courses and their surroundings offer a perfect venue for the event and are well worth visiting: the Kippasuo Pro layout recently rated the fifth best disc golf course in the world by UDisc. Different divisions will be placed on the two courses according to rating and age, placing lower rated groups on the amateur course. In 2021, PowerPutt Open was the largest ladies competition held in Europe. This year, we aim be the largest in the world! The competition will be one round and will be held in two groups, one starting in the morning and one in the afternoon, to accompany the many players we hope attend. The event will also have a lot of fun stuff happening besides the competition round! We will have throwing clinics, music, side-competitions and more. Schedule for the event and our "guardians" or clinic keepers will be published later. We hope to see you in September ❤️

Tervetuloa syksyn innostavimpaan naisten ja tyttöjen kisatapahtumaan PowerPutt Ladies Openiin 24.9.2022! Kilpailun pääkumppanina ja tukijana toimii Discmania. Harrastatko frisbeegolfia, mutta et ole vielä uskaltautunut kisoihin? Vai oletko kisaamisessa jo kokenut konkari? Tämä tapahtuma on luotu juuri sinulle, naisheittäjä, juuri sillä tasolla kuin olet ❤️

Kilpailussa on omat luokkansa kaikille aloittelijoista ammattilaisiin sekä junioreista ikäluokkiin. Jos osallistut kilpailuihin ensimmäistä kertaa, on sinun luokkasi Beginner (metrix rating 0) tai sopiva ikäluokka niin halutessasi. Luokat löydät tapahtuman sivulta Disc Golf Metrixistä, jonka linkki löytyy sivun kuvauksesta. Kilpailuun rekisteröidytään Metrixissä ja tarvitset ilmoittautuaksesi ilmaisen tilin sivulle. Sinun ei tarvitse olla lisenssipelaaja osallistuaksesi, vaan kaikki ovat tervetulleita! Tapahtuma järjestetään legendaarisella Kippiksen frisbeegolfradalla Heinolassa. Kilpailussa on käytössä Kippasuon molemmat radat, amatööri ja pro, joiden erilaiset haastavuustasot varmistavat sopivan radan kaikille osallistujillemme. Kippis on ympäristönä upea ja kokemisen arvoinen: pro-rata sai hiljattain kunniamaininnan UDiscin viidenneksi parhaana ratana maailmassa! Luokat jaetaan radoille ratingeihin ja ikäluokkiin pohjaten. PowerPutt Open oli vuonna 2021 suurin naisille ja tytöille järjestetty kilpailu Euroopassa. Tänä vuonna haluamme olla suurin maailmassa! Kilpailussa pelataan yksi kierros kahdessa eri lohkossa (aamu- ja iltapäivällä), jotta saamme mahdollisimman monet teistä mahtumaan mukaan. Totutusti kilpailukierroksen lisäksi luvassa on myös paljon muuta kivaa! Järjestämme kisapäivänä tapahtumapaikalla heittoklinikoita, musiikkia, kisailuja jne. Tapahtuman tarkempi aikataulu ja klinikoita vetävien suojelijoiden nimet julkaistaan myöhemmin. Toivottavasti näemme sinut remmissä syyskuussa! ❤️

Tautia ei enää käsitellä muista taudeista poikkeavalla ohjeistuksella, m***a halusimme silti tiedottaa aiheesta. Tarkkaile oloasi ja välttele liikkumista ennen kuin olet terve (kuten nyt ylipäätään kannattaa).

Some players have gotten symptoms after the competition that ended up being covid. Covid is no longer seen differently from the common cold in Finland but we still wanted to give you a heads up. Monitor yourself for symptoms and move about only when you're healthy (as you normally should anyway).

Vielä muutama tiedotusasia lauantain kisoihin liittyvistä asioista! ☺️ Kippiksellä on 2 bajamajaa, jotka ovat kilpailijoiden käytössä. Parkkipaikkana toimii Kippiksen oma parkkipaikka kippiksen osoitteessa. Muistakaa ottaa omat vesipullot mukaan, radalta ei juomapisteitä valitettavasti löydy. Few important informations regarding saturday. There are two portable toilets in Kippis, which are available the whole day. Parking is at the Kippis own parking lot, same address as the Kippis course. Remember also to take your own water, because unfortunately there are no water access points in The competition center. Welcome you all, see you on saturday, cant wait!! 😍😍

Power Putt Ladies Open is less than a week away. We do this event to promote equality and women's disc golf - and we're not alone! ❤️

It is truly humbling to list the sponsors of the 2022 event. Organising an event with (hopefully) more than 200 players with no entry fees does not happen without support.
