Titans bounce back in style! 🏏🔥

After a 22-run setback vs. Otaniemi Challengers, C’71 Titans answered with a 35-run victory against Kuopio CC.

In our 12th match against OKK, we suffered a 22-run defeat. But true teams are not defined by one bad day — they are defined by how they respond after that. In our 13th match against KCC, the Titans came back stronger, more focused, and more determined, securing a commanding 35-run victory.

The star of the match was Md. Hyat Ullah Shimo, who delivered a complete all-round performance. He led from the front with the bat, scoring 57 runs at a strike rate of 150, and then dominated with the ball, taking 5 wickets for just 13 runs. A well-deserved Player of the Match performance.

The batting unit was strongly supported by Muhammad Shofiullah, who scored a valuable 55 runs, and Masum Billah, who added important 46 runs. Their contributions helped to build a strong platform for the team.

With the ball, Kazi Nirjhar Hossain continued the pressure with 2 wickets for 18 runs, while Irfatul Islam impressed with 2 wickets for 27 runs. A special welcome to Irfat, our young star and new addition to the team — a great way to start your journey with the Titans!

This win is a reminder of our strength, unity, and fighting spirit. We lost one game, but we did not lose our belief.

Well done, C’71 Titans. We are back, we are hungry, and we keep moving forward! 💪🏏

Another story for C’71 Titans victory! 🏏🔥

In our last match against SSC Sixers, C’71 Titans secured an important 21-run victory through teamwork and a strong fighting spirit.

After winning the toss, SSC Sixers chose to bowl first. Our batting innings did not go exactly as planned, as early top-order wickets created pressure and made it difficult to build a big total. However, our middle order stepped up when the team needed it most.

Kazi Nirjhar Hossain led the batting effort with a composed and valuable 42 runs from 37 balls, including 5 fours and 1 six. He was well supported by Md. Salah Uddin Sajib, who added an important 26 runs from 24 balls, hitting 3 boundaries. Their contributions helped us post a fighting total and gave our bowlers something to defend.

Chasing 149, SSC Sixers started strongly and built a quick 75-run opening partnership within 8 overs. At that stage, the match looked challenging, but the C'71 Titans did not give up. The momentum changed completely with the introduction of Md. Masum Billah, who delivered a match-winning spell. He picked up wickets at regular intervals and finished with outstanding figures of 4 wickets for just 17 runs (Player of the match). Tuhidul Islam also played an important role with the ball, taking 2 crucial wickets and keeping the pressure on the opposition.

This win showed the character of our team — even when the match does not start in our favor, we stay calm, trust each other and fight back strongly.

Well done to every player for the commitment and effort.

Full points secured against FPC! 🏏🔥

This season, Club ’71 Titans played two matches against FPC — our 1st match of the season and our 9th match. In both games, we showed strong character and dominance, collecting all available match points.

In the first match, our bowling unit set the tone by bowling FPC out inside 17 overs and helping us secure a tight 2-wicket victory. Tuhidul Islam delivered a brilliant spell, taking 4 wickets for just 9 runs, and deservedly became the Player of the Match. Mohammad Shofiullah was equally impressive, taking 3 wickets for only 9 runs, giving us complete control with the ball.

In the return game, we showed our strength with the bat and secured a commanding 8-wicket win. The chase started explosively, with Mobasirul Alam Prince smashing 26 runs from just 9 balls, including five boundaries and one six. His aggressive start gave the team strong momentum and set the foundation for the chase.

The innings was then anchored beautifully by Md. Masum Billah, who remained unbeaten on a magnificent 60 runs from 42 balls, including 7 fours and 2 sixes. His calm, composed, and match-winning knock guided Club ’71 Titans to a comfortable victory.

Two matches, two wins, full points — a strong statement from the Titans.

Well done, Club ’71 Titans. Let’s keep the hunger, unity, and winning mindset alive! 💪🏏

Yes, we did it!

C’71 Titans collected all points against Vantaa Knights, winning both the home and away games. This is a proud moment for the team and a strong reflection of our unity, discipline, and hunger to win.

As expected, Vantaa Knights came back with a strong batting line-up and a clear plan. But our bowling department was even stronger. We stayed focused, executed our plans, and restricted them to 97/7 in 15 overs. A brilliant bowling effort was led by Md. Shofiullah, who took 3 crucial wickets for just 15 runs, strongly supported by Tuhidul Islam with 2 wickets and Kazi Nirjhar Hossain with 1 wicket.

With the bat, Hyat Ullah Shimo showed class, power, and confidence, scoring a superb 51 runs from 27 balls, including four massive sixes at a strike rate of 189. A well-deserved Player of the Match performance. At the other end, Kazi Nirjhar Hossain played a calm and composed unbeaten innings of 28 runs, guiding the team safely to victory.

A big thank you to every player for believing in the plan, backing each other, and fighting until the end. Every contribution matters, whether it is with bat, ball, fielding, or support from outside the boundary.

This is the mindset we need to carry forward: stay confident, stay disciplined, and stay hungry.

Well done, Titans. Together we fight, together we win! 💪🏏

C’71 Titans have now played half of the group-stage matches, but our hunger for wins is still the same — maybe even stronger.

Today’s performance showed what belief, patience, and positive intent can bring to the team. Prince and Masum Billah gave us a brilliant start by building a 100+ opening partnership, setting the foundation for a strong total. Prince played a superb innings, hitting 6 over-boundaries and 8 boundaries, showing confidence, power, and responsibility when the team needed it.

But this victory is not only about numbers. It is about mindset. It is about trusting each other, backing our skills, and staying hungry even after success. Every player has a role, every supporter gives us energy, and every match is another opportunity to prove who we are.

What a season it’s been! Club’71 showed real spirit with many great wins and plenty of moments to remember. The final didn’t go our way, and we missed out on promotion. Yes, we lost a few things along the journey—but we also gained some fantastic emerging players who bring pure cricket spirit and fresh energy to the club.

We had a great time together, and we surely missed those who couldn’t join us this season. A big thank you to all our supporters and donors—your encouragement and generosity keep us going strong.

Now, we look ahead with fresh determination. Next year, our target is not only to fight for promotion again, but also to bring forward a second team, making Club’71 even stronger and more impactful.

Here’s to good cricket, good company, and an even brighter future for Club’71!
