Helsinki Boys would like to thank all of Helsinki Tigers Sporting Club members for organizing one of the great Finnbangla cricket tournaments in 2025. The whole event was well planned and well organized . This kind of organizing and well ex*****on will surely encourage the next organizer to organize even bigger and more teams in one go. We would like to see every single city have one team in the next FinnBangla which will value our whole Bangladeshi community living in different cities .

We, Helsinki Boys tried to play our best cricket as a team and unfortunately we have come second at the end of the Final. But we take it proudly what we have achieved. The best team of the tournament Malmi Supernova won the title . Congratulations to them from the Helsinki Boys. But we have given a fight in the final to prove to other teams that we made it to the final as a finalist by beating in QF one best team and last year runners up Royal Strikers and in SF defending champion Turku Tigers - TT .

We would like to thank all participating teams of Finnbangla 2025. It was great to watch you all closely. See you hopefully in 2026. Until then stay well and stay healthy. Good luck ♥️♥️♥️

Late post :

Helsinki Boys wrapped up the first season of 2024 with some quality time together. We tried to celebrate our individual performances by recognizing our performers.

Our participation 2024 :

BSL'24 : We have participated in our very first BSL. We made it to the Semi Final this time.

FinnBangla'24 : We have participated in Finnbangla'24 after the year of 2016. We made it to the 2nd round. There was drama with the player in our plan by other teams which was completely unnoticed. However we tried to regroup in a short time and our best batsman 2024 for Helsinki Boys Mr Rifat scored unbeaten 160 runs in one of our group stage matches. That is so far the highest score by any individual player in this tournament.

Hope we will bring some more exciting cricket next year IN SHA ALLAH.
