Recall that the three hour session in Suomenlinna sea fortress is scheduled on Thursday 27th of August. As it is also a ”shibu keiko” event, the session is available to both Helsinki Jodokai and Hikari members. Check with your group leader for any additional details. Helsinki Jodokai is a martial arts community located in Helsinki, Finland. The subject of our study is an old Japanese martial art tradition known as Shinto Muso-ryu jodo.

The Summer Gasshuku of 2026 is finished. The total number of participants from Finland this year was six, which is a new record. Two of them took kyu exams (all passed) and three took dan exams (all passed). Congratulations!
