A good friend of mine once said: ”Sis, we didn’t knew how good we had it that time”
I wish I’d known that at that time we had it really good. When we sailed to surf empty waves for hours, surfed alone and got home totally sunburnt. Whenever I see people that were on that particular sail, we always talk about that day. It made an impact.
Today I had a conversation about our house in the Phillipines that we rented. It was open, all the birds would eat our fruits if we forget them to the table. It rained inside and it was always full of mosquitos. I still miss that house.
In those days we really didn’t understand how good we really had it.
After my friends comment I’ve always been trying to reflect about how things are going in every moment. remembering those sailing days and realizing that life is bitter sweet play of realization of the gone moments and clear phases of enjoying the moment. This week’s been a bit tough. I’ve really had to reorganize my thoughts, values and boundaries.
So, I’m in my memories today I’m back at the shack and surfing and sailing on these empty waves and knowing we’ll be making more of those good memories in no time.

Happy international women’s day for sisters. I sincerely wish all of the women the go towards their dreams the way I didn’t go when I was younger and to remind myself it’s now or never, always. Love the amazing women in my life, I can believe how lucky I am 💓✨ 💓
