Reason 5: Buying a premium bike retail makes zero sense when your employer can let you pay for it straight through your salary instead.

It’s significantly cheaper, you don’t drop a massive lump sum of cash upfront and it just handle’s itself.

If your company hasn’t set this up yet, go ask your HR lead why they’re making your commute harder than it needs to be. We’re ready to fix it for them.

Has an employee benefit ever made your everyday life noticeably better? Not in a “nice to have" kind of way. But in a “my commute is easier, I move more and this actually fits into my life” kind of way? 💭❓

That is what many employees told us about the bike benefit.

We asked 4 395 employees and employers in Finland which benefits truly support wellbeing, work ability and everyday life.

One finding stood out: 79% of bike benefit users said they would be disappointed if their employer removed the benefit.

For employees, the bike benefit is not just about getting a bike. It often means easier commutes, more everyday movement and wellbeing that fits into real life. Not a separate wellness project. Not another thing to add to the calendar.

And for employers, that is the bigger point: how many benefits can support wellbeing, work ability and lower commuting emissions at the same time?

Not many. The bike benefit happens to be one of them. Convenient, we know. We are trying to stay humble about it. 💛

♻️🚲 Precycled started in 2021 with a simple idea: a good bike deserves a long life. Through the Precycled online store, high-quality bikes found new riders and continued their journey where they belong.

In 2026, Vapaus transitioned its original Precycled online store to our partner Yeply, while the circular economy journey of bikes continues to evolve.

From now on, bikes returned to Vapaus will be refurbished and resold through Yeply Recycled. Carefully serviced, ready to ride, and built to last.

For us, this is a natural next step. We focus on what we do best, while a trusted partner takes circular cycling forward.

Let’s be real.
January 1 is the world championship of unrealistic promises.

Sounds exhausting already.
