Christmas is a time for joy, kindness, and togetherness.

In Finland, we honor this with Joulurauha — Christmas Peace — a reminder to slow down, treat each other with respect, and celebrate peacefully.

Wishing everyone a calm, joyful, and meaningful Christmas.

✨ Only 12 days until Christmas! ✨

And guess what? Our magical elf has spilled the best secret ever… 🎅

Did you know that our Santa’s secret cabin is also one of the coziest, most wonderful places to spot the Northern Lights? ❄️ For the second day in a row, families have enjoyed early aurora shows dancing across the sky between 16:00 and 18:00 — and the excitement is absolutely contagious! 💚✨

These glowing surprises are making everyone’s Christmas countdown even more unforgettable. Let the magic continue! 🎄💫

🇫🇮 Hyvää Itsenäisyyspäivää, Suomi!

Today we celebrate 108 years of independence, resilience, and the world’s strongest national superpowers: coffee consumption, sisu, and the ability to survive winter with only 3 minutes of daylight. ✨❄️💪 Polar night (in Finnish : Kaamos) officially started 2 days ago, which means the next sunrise 🌅 is on 7th Jan 2026.

May your candles burn bright, your sauna be hot, and your day fill with festive joy. Cheers to Finland — where even the silence is elite.

Maaruskaa kannattaa käydä tuntureilla ihastelemassa. Kiilopää ilta-auringon aikaan on esimerkiksi todella vaikuttava. 🤎🍂

Happy Midsummer from Saariselkä 🌞

In Finland, Midsummer is one of the favorite and important celebration. People celebrate with a bonfire, grill outdoors and simply spending time in summer cottage with family and friends.

It's the longest day of year, and we can enjoy and appreciate the nature to its fullest.

Hope your days are surrounded by what you love. Wishing all our guests Hyvää Juhannusta 💥🫶🏻

Yöttömän yön kausi Lapissa alkaa lämpimällä säällä, mikä tekee siitä ihanan ajan vierailla. Vietimme ihanan viikonlopun, kun lämpötilat nousivat yli 20 asteen. Monet ihmiset aloittivat myös uintikautensa.

Kesäkuusta alkaen voit nauttia Lapin kesästä monin eri tavoin.
Voit suunnitella Lapissa:

🌿Luonnon tutkiminen: Tee helppo päiväretki Urho Kekkosen kansallispuistossa.
