Double-duty Sunday 🤩 trail running/hiking + MBT in the most relaxing environment.

Another day, another marathon on trails - today easier trails and still keeping the pace rather easy to save my knee. First time doing two (trail) marathons in two days, and it feels amazing 🤩

Training camp day 1 completed: relaxed & easy pace, yet rather technical trail, in perfect weather & enjoying the views with training buddies for costa rica and for iceland 🤩

The Finnish nature is amazing, but I cannot wait next year's adventures either with 💪

After a proper warm-up week (aka moving) it's time to head to a weekend training camp 😃🏃

Packing & moving around 40 boxes, some 10 more for reuse&recycling = 21 hours of activity, consuming extra 6500 calories in a week, in addition to the usual training and work - and this is before the professionals come and take over the real stuff. Can this be counted as excersise? 🤔

Another nice & easy 10k without pain in the knee - starting to feel confident about that injury being history and ready for longer runs & trails 💪 and that called for a delicious late lunch with bubbles 🤩🥂

Just love these early autumn sunny weekends - perfect for long runs & biking sessions, charging batteries and enjoying season's delicacies with friends 😋

A bit different running scenery today - exploring the renovated Helsinki Olympic stadium 🤩

Anniversaries!🤩🥂 Exactly one year ago I ran my first marathon, and one year before that started running (&training at all) after several passive (=work-filled) years, and two days ago it was time for my first triathlon. This autumn it also will be the time for my first ultra distance run - if there are no official races, there's always gps tracking and inner motivation & joy of doing it.

It's a great feeling to have so much more energy and to be so much more fit than two years ago. There's also a significant improvement in the running pace, and yet this is a good reminder that it's a long journey when you're training for ultra distances / endurance sports. Looking forward to the years to come 😍💪

Made it through my first triathlon 💪 a struggle in the beginning - panicking after 30m of swimming - took the best edge off, but I'm happy I finished and especially the running felt quite ok. I need to learn a proper swimming technique and to control my head around it before the next time, which I'm quite confident will come - and with a longer distance 🤩 thanks to
for organizing a great event also for the first-timers 👌
