Incredible Stability & Extreme Softness – Platinium FLX Troija!

The Prodiscus Troija is famous as one of the world's most overstable approach discs. With almost unnatural stability and minimal glide, it fights hard to the ground right out of the hand—making it the ultimate utility disc for reliable scrambles and precise approaches.

Now, the new Platinium FLX plastic takes it to the next level:

• Sit-and-Stay Softness: The floppy, flexible blend absorbs impact. It hits the ground or a tree and stops dead, eliminating dangerous skips or rollaways.
• Relentless Grip: Tacky and premium feel that stays flexible and grippy in freezing winters or autumn rains.
• Unshakable Flight: Laughs at headwinds. Throw it with full power or on a steep anhyzer—it always fights back for its signature sharp fade.

The ultimate weapon for absolute control and zero ground play. Get yours now from www.prodiscus.fi

The Riddle

I was born in Finland, yet I fly across the world, on lines of tight hyzer or big anhyzers curled.
I am no putter or mid, for I crave the open space, tearing down the fairway with high speed and extra grace.
My skin might be Ultrium, or Premium and I may glow in the dark. A brand new weapon that your cardmates will fear. With a wide rim to grip and a sharp edge to slice, I hunt for the chains, but a birdie will suffice.

What am I?

European Open may be over, but there’s no time to slow down!

The focus of the Disc Golf Pro Tour has already shifted to Sweden, where the Swedish Open is underway on the demanding Ymergårdens Disc Golf Center course in Borås. After the first round, both Roland Kõur and Luukas Rokkanen have put themselves in excellent positions heading into the weekend.

Roland opened the event with an impressive 9-under-par round, leaving him tied for second place and just one throw behind the leader. It was a confident and controlled performance that once again demonstrated his ability to compete with the very best players in the world.

This venue is also far from unfamiliar territory for Roland. He has experienced success on this course before and has even found himself battling for the win alongside disc golf legend Paul McBeth during a final round here. That previous experience could prove valuable on a course that demands both precision and smart decision-making.

Luukas Rokkanen also made a strong statement in the opening round. His 7-under-par start puts him in a tie for ninth place, only three throws off the lead. With two rounds remaining, he is well within striking distance and perfectly positioned to make a move up the leaderboard.

The Swedish Open course is proving exactly why it has earned such a respected reputation. Players are required to shape a variety of shots, adapt to constantly changing fairway angles, and execute under pressure. There are very few opportunities to relax, and success comes only to those who can combine power, accuracy, and creativity throughout the round.

Perhaps most exciting is seeing how strongly European players are performing against the sport’s biggest international stars. Round one showed that the established names cannot take anything for granted. Talented European competitors continue to raise the level of play and challenge for victories on the biggest stages of professional disc golf.

With Roland sitting just one shot off the lead and Luukas only three back, everything remains to play for. If both players can maintain their momentum, the Swedish Open could become another memorable chapter in an already exciting European disc golf season.

Good luck to Roland and Luukas for the remaining rounds—we’ll be cheering them on all the way!

European Open – Day 2 Update

What are the thoughs from the day 2 of the European Open where Team Prodiscus continues to battle against one of the strongest fields in disc golf.

Roland Kõur is still having an outstanding tournament and remains firmly in the hunt, earning a spot on the second card for the next round. With his consistent play and strong form, Roland is still fighting for the win as the competition heads into the decisive stages.

Kalle Kela also showed positive momentum today, continuing to improve his position and build confidence with every round. It's great to see Kalle finding his rhythm and moving in the right direction.

Alongside them, Aapo Karhi, Rasmus Lampela, and Luukas Rokkanen continue to represent Prodiscus on one of the biggest stages in European disc golf, battling through a demanding course and elite competition.

With more golf still to be played, Team Prodiscus has plenty to fight for. Roland is keeping the pressure on the leaders, Kalle is climbing, and Aapo, Rasmus, and Luukas are all working hard to finish strong.

Good luck to all Prodiscus players in the upcoming rounds!

Roland Kour Opens the European Open with a Statement Round

What a way to start the European Open.

Roland Kour put together one of the most exciting performances of the opening round, showcasing both consistency and highlight-reel brilliance on his way to a share of third place. Sitting just three throws behind leader Gannon Buhr, Roland has firmly established himself as a contender heading into the next rounds.

The defining moment of the day came at Hole 16, where Roland sent his disc soaring straight into the chains for a spectacular ace. As if the shot itself wasn't impressive enough, the ace came with his trusted Prodiscus Pyramid, a disc that delivered perfectly when it mattered most. Moments like these can change the momentum of an entire tournament, and the gallery erupted as Roland carded one of the biggest highlights of Round 1.

Beyond the ace, Roland's round was built on smart decision-making, confidence off the tee, and the ability to capitalize on scoring opportunities while avoiding costly mistakes. That's the formula that has him tied for third and within striking distance of the lead.

Being only three shots back after the opening round is an excellent position at a major event like the European Open. With several rounds still to come, everything remains wide open, and Roland has shown that he has both the form and the confidence to challenge the world's best players.

The ace on 15 with the Prodiscus Pyramid will undoubtedly be one of the memorable moments of the tournament, but for Roland, the bigger story is where it has placed him on the leaderboard: right in the hunt.

A phenomenal opening round, a tournament-defining ace, and a place among the top contenders—Roland Kour is making his presence felt at the European Open.

Ace on 15. Tied 3rd. Three back of the lead. Let's go, Roland!

And good luck to all players for the second round
