Since the 1st edition in 2008 in Malmo, the popularity of this event has been steadily growing as more and more adults focus on a healthy lifestyle and enjoy life by integrating sports into their daily routine. The previous edition in Torino gathered over 7500 athletes from all over the world. We are expecting 7500 master-aged athletes and their supporters from all over the World. Tampere is going to be a stage of international top sports once again. This city provides unique circumstances for sports by it’s strong co-operating among sport clubs. Tampere city is also located between two beautiful lakes – Pyhäjärvi and Näsijärvi. Therefore the area and the view is wonderful. Don’t forget to try the sauna too! The 2023 Tampere European Masters Games are organised with the support of the International Masters Games Association (IMGA). The association is the world governing body for Masters sport, a non-profit organisation recognised by the International Olympic Committee.
