🏃‍♀️ Walk to the venue

💧 Fill your bottle – some of the world’s cleanest tap water

At the stadium, athletes, coaches, and spectators can refill their own bottles with fresh Finnish tap water. No need for single-use plastics!

📌 Small act, big impact: safety pin recycling

Used bib pins are collected and reused at junior events. A simple way to reduce waste.

🎄 Medalists receive a spruce seedling

Every medalist gets a spruce seedling. They can plant it themselves – or donate it to be planted in the Tampere area, where it will grow into a future Christmas tree.

🚍 Free public transport for athletes

The U20 accreditation pass gives athletes free access to Tampere public transport all week. Take the tram or bus – move responsibly!

♻️ Recycling points at the stadium – no bottles in the trash!

Returnable bottle recycling is standard in Finland. Spectators can return bottles at special points in the stadium to keep them out of mixed waste.

🔨 Structures built with recycled materials

Most of the event’s structures are made from recycled or reusable materials. Many were already built for the Motonet GP to reduce transport and construction impact.
