Taking 1 win out of 2 in our final double-header last Saturday at Rajakylän Cricket Ground, the team showed incredible firepower, composure, and individual brilliance to secure top spot in National League Division 4! 💥🦁

What a weekend of contrasting fortunes for our club! While our National League Division 4 squad continues to soar with an absolute masterclass of a victory, our Finnish Premier League team had a highly challenging day on the field that we will be looking to learn from and put behind us quickly.

Our Division 4 boys, the Turku Lions, marched on to bag another sensational victory, defeating the Tampere Eagles Cricket Club in a thriller! The day belonged entirely to one man who put on what has to be one of the greatest all-round performances of the season:

Wasim Umar was the undisputed Player of the Match.

With the ball, he tore through the Tampere Eagles lineup, taking an incredible 5 wickets for just 19 runs in his 4 overs!

With the bat, he played a blistering, match-winning knock of 48 runs off just 27 balls.

Operating at a massive strike rate of 177.78, he cleared the ropes with 5 humongous sixes and 2 fours to seal the game!
