Subsurface Fiji

We were stoked to be able to lend a hand with this important project last week! 🌊🇫🇯
The team from the Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation and the Fiji Hydrographic Service were out around Malolo carrying out site reconnaissance as part of Fiji’s Tourism Hydrographic Mapping Initiative — and we were happy to help support them on the water.
As people who spend pretty much every day exploring the waters around the Mamanucas, we know how important accurate marine information is for keeping our waters safe and supporting the future of Fiji’s marine tourism.
It was great to share some of our local knowledge and help identify submerged hazards and other features around the island.
We love seeing government and tourism operators working together to better understand, protect and safely enjoy Fiji’s incredible marine environment. 💙
