Waqavuka Men’s Open – Pacific Cup Tour Cancelled
It is with heavy hearts that the Men’s Open (MO) management and coaching staff announce the cancellation of our tour to this year’s Pacific Cup.
This decision has been made due to logistical and funding challenges. With the limited time available to raise the required trip funds, we are unable to proceed with the tour for the Men’s Open grade.
We sincerely apologise to our players, families, supporters, sponsors, and the wider Waqavuka family. This was not an easy call, and we thank everyone who has already given time, energy, and support toward the campaign.
Preparations for our very own Fijian Cup 2026 will continue as planned. The focus now turns to that campaign, and to building toward the Pacific Cup Indigenous Tournament in 2027.
To the remaining Waqavuka categories still competing at this year’s Pacific Cup — all the best. Represent the jersey with pride. We are behind you.
