🏊🇫🇯 Team Fiji made waves both in and out of the pool at the 2026 Oceania Swimming Championships!

From record-breaking performances to environmental action and athlete engagement, the championships showcased the true spirit of Oceania sport - unity, respect, and community.

Team Fiji delivered an outstanding campaign, finishing 2nd overall with 11 gold medals, 6 bronze medals, and multiple Fiji National and Oceania Records. A historic highlight came with Fiji’s first-ever open water medal in the 4x1.5km Mixed Relay, a proud moment for Fiji Swimming.

Beyond the competition, the FASANOC ACE Champions team helped create an inclusive and energetic atmosphere throughout the championships while promoting the messages “Stay Healthy, Play True, Play Safe” and “Go Green.”

The team also led a successful Return & Earn Fiji recycling initiative at the Damodar Aquatic Centre, collecting PET bottles and aluminium cans alongside athletes, volunteers, officials, and spectators from all 18 participating countries. Funds raised through the initiative will support the continued growth of Fiji Swimming.

FBC to stream National Schools Swimming Championships The Fijian Broadcasting Corporation will deliver live coverage of the National Schools Age Group Swimming Championships later this month, with the event to stream exclusively on Viti+ this Friday and Saturday.

Day 6, final day of the World Aquatics Youth Coach Course started off with the Oceania Coach Huddles, different methods of athlete focus, race analysis & models & wrapped up with self reflection. Fiji Swimming takes this opportunity to thank World Aquatics & Oceania Aquatics for allowing us to host this 1st of many courses for our Oceania Coaches 🏊‍♂️🏊‍♀️⏱️

Day 5 World Aquatics Youth Coach Course covered Strength & Conditioning practical, Breaststroke, tapering & wrapped the day with a mini comp between coaches & their team of swimmers 🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️👏
