The festival will be from 25th to 28th february 2027. Prices starts at only 7.270 DKK and this includes 3 nights at our hotel H Hotel Gardeninn Tórshavn, airport transfer in the Faroes, as well as tournament fee that includes the legendary festival dinner. Faroese and Danish winners of the Farewell tournament

Mr. Hallberg Arnfriðsson and Mr. Jens Pauli Guldbrandsø Nolsøe won this year edition of the Farewell tournament at Tórshavn Bridgefestival, with a small margin to the number two pair, Ms. Vibeke Madsen (DK) and Jens Toft (DK). In third place Mr. P***e Højbjerre Reimann and Mr. Jákup Sørensen.

Next year's Festival (the 8TH ) will be held on 25th to 28th february 2027.

Danish winners
Jacob Øland and Daniel Bang-Ortmann won this years edition of the Tórshavn Bridgefestival. They won this years edition quite safely with a good margin to the number two pair, the two faroese legends Jakup Hjaltalin and Arnbjørn Sivertsen with the faroese champions Arne Mikkelsen and Dánjal Pauli Mohr in third place.

Next years festival, wich will be the 8th will be held on 25th to 28th february 2027.

Danish players in front after day one
The danish pair Jacob Øland (photo) and Daniel Bang Ortmann are on top after the first two sections. IN second place are Maria van der List from Netherlands and Vigfús Pálsson from Iceland. And in third place the faroese and danish pair Jens Pauli Guldbrandsø Nolsøe and Morten Klug.

The last 50 boards will be played today, starting at 9.30 local time.

Faroese and danish winners of the warm up

The local pair Árni M. Dam and Símun Lassaberg won the north/south division and the danish pair Per Frederiksen and Thor Jemsen won the east/west. In second place north/south came the danes Leise Hemberg and Rico Hemberg and east/west the local Robert Langgaard and Eyðun Anthoniussen.

Tomorrow the main tournament starts with a reception at 15 and the games starts at 16.
