We love summer and it can seem like it lasts far too short.
One indicator that we've passed at least half of summer is that the guillemots are leaving their nests with their chicks.
Yesterday we saw the first common guillemot chick at sea on the shores of the island of Hestur in the Faroe Islands.
In the coming days, many will follow and by the end of the month, all the guillemots will have left the bird cliffs and their nests.
