ELCO Girls Soccer Europe 2019

Day 9 was spent in Brussels...saw a protest and walked the older part of the city. Started off with a quick stop to see the Atomium and the Royal Palace. In the city some things we saw were the Mannekin P*s statue and enjoyed the buildings in Grand Place, Grote Market. We also saw a protest/strike of firefighters, that was interesting!!

Tuesday we moved to Belgium. Bruges was first on our list. Lots of food and drink, such a charming, beautiful city!!!

Monday Night was devoted to Norway vs Korea!⚽️

Monday we moved to Reims...we started out with a tour of the underground Champagne Caves of Pommery, had a training session with a first division coach, Coach Amadine, before dinner and saw the Cathedral of Notre Dame of Reims!!

We have visited the Eiffel Tower during the day, checked out what we could of Notre Dame, the Luxembourg Gardens, went to the gardens outside the Louvre and saw the pyramid! Too say we are busy is an understatement 😉😊

Some extra pics from the tournament and Sunday, we visited Luxembourg Gardens, Notre Dame (outside only) went to the USA vs Chile and went on a boat cruise on the Seine River, plus we got to ride the Metro!

Day 5...Today was spent at one of the best tournament experiences these girls could have had! Each team played 3 games, without a loss, the atmosphere was like a party and our two assigned team managers couldn't have been better, Mala and Malkozo were so much fun and made the day even better!! Thanks to the Evry Football Club for hosting this awesome day!!

Day 4, Montmartre, Sacre Coer and some more Champs Elysees. Tomorrow all day soccer tournament vs three French teams!

Day 3....Visit to Mont St. Michel, spectacular! Visit to Normandy American National Cemetery and Omaha Beach, so emotional, lifetime experience...some training and a little parent bonding at night!
