Meet Thilo, the founder of KANOA.

For him, the challenge of building a better surfboard became more than an idea. It became the starting point for KANOA Surfboards.

The best ideas often start with understanding why the old ones worked so well.

For decades, PU has been the benchmark for high-performance surfboards. Not because nobody tried to improve it, but because matching its flex and feel while solving its biggest compromises turned out to be far more difficult than it looked.

Today, we’re launching the biggest update to our Ocean Boards since the start of KANOA Surfboards.

It felt like the right time. Time for new graphics, refined shapes and a few updates across our Ocean Board range.

Together with Spider Murphy, who’s been shaping KANOA boards since day one, we’ve refined every shape in the collection. Every board now comes with Future Fins and fresh graphics, plus a host of small improvements. All while staying true to the versatile shapes that have defined KANOA from the start.
