BIG wheels. BIG history. 🌈

32-inch DUKE wheels are World Champions.

On Saturday in Fiera di Primiero, , rider for , won the 2026 UCI Mountain Bike Marathon World Championships aboard the Scarp Evo 4 32 Prototype, equipped with DUKE Lucky Jack SLS5 32”RC-1 Edition (with the new RC-1 PBO spokes) wheels.

95 km. Around 4,000 metres of climbing. And a rainbow jersey at the finish.

Earlier this year, Felix Stehli gave our Lucky Jack 32” its first major racing success with a stage victory at the Cape Epic.

Now Andreas takes it one huge step further: our first overall victory on 32-inch wheels — and the first World Championship title ever won on a 32-inch bike.

When we introduced our 32” range, we said one thing very clearly: we don’t know whether 32” will replace 29”.

But one thing is no longer theoretical: 32” can win at the highest level.

The Lucky Jack SLS5 32” was developed specifically around the demands of the larger diameter, not simply scaled up from a 29” rim.

Will 32” replace 29” and 700C? We don’t know. But we’re ready to find out.

A larger wheel brings real potential: a lower angle of attack over obstacles, better rollover, greater stability and an improved ability to carry speed through rough terrain.

But going bigger also changes the equation. More leverage on the rim. Higher inertia at the same weight. Different spoke geometry. Greater demands on the tyre-rim interface.

So our new 32” wheels are not simply enlarged versions of existing 29” or 700C rims.

We made it to the finish line! 2️⃣4️⃣⏱️

This weekend, part of the DUKE team lined up at the 24 Heures Vélo du Mans.

660 teams. 3200 riders. 24 hours on the clock.

Riding in the Men’s 6 category: Quentin, W***y, Jonathan, Jocelyn, Tommy and Guillaume – with Lucinda making sure the whole thing actually worked behind the scenes.

Some came to race hard. Quentin even led the overall standings during his opening stint. Some came with more realistic expectations. We won’t name names…

Rain, wind, night laps, sunshine, fast packs, pain on the bike and big smiles off it.

Our target was a top 100 overall finish. We ended up 66th overall, 26th in Men’s 6, with 220 laps and 920.70 km covered.

A proper team effort. And a special way to say goodbye to Quentin, who finished his apprenticeship with us the Monday after the race.

DUKE is built by cyclists. Sometimes, that means spending 24 hours racing on our own products. Best job in the world.

Yes, a 120 mm full-suspension bike at 8.99 kg can still be a proper XC bike.

's latest Scott Spark RC once again pushes weight saving and attention to detail a long way. But this is not just a showroom bike.

For the wheels, Gustav opted for a build using our DUKE Lucky Jack 31 SLS5 285 rims.

Neither our lightest nor our strongest Lucky Jack option*, but the balance he felt best suited this Spark RC and his riding style.

Result: a complete wheelset at 949 g.
And a full-suspension XC bike under 9 kg that still makes plenty of sense to ride in the real world.

* In our range, we also offer a 245 g rim, usually paired with a 285 g rear for pure XC riding, and a 350 g rim, usually paired with a 285 g front for more committed, World Cup-level XCO use.

Enduro World Cup overall winner 🏆

Victory for at the final EDR World Cup round in Morillon — 85 km, 4,110 m of descending — and the Men’s Elite overall secured after six rounds of racing.
