Two days climbing in a paradisiac valley in Italy, it was a combination of wild, nature, amazing rock climbing and a lot of fun 😊

Matterhorn Summit!

We had a very good, efficient day a few days ago climbing the iconic Matterhorn. Nice weather, and funny company.
I guided Nelly Attar - the first Arab woman to summit K2 and possibly the Matterhorn too.

Nice to climb with you Nelly. Hope to see you again in the Alps!

Au final, nous allons tous au même endroit, mais on ne peut s'empêcher de les regretter.....

El 25 de enero escalamos una línea, variante, vía nueva o lo que sea. Fue una experiencia increíble con alto compañero.
Comenzamos por el canal central por donde empieza la vía Mercier y luego seguimos todo recto hasta la cumbre, encontramos largos de mixto increíbles y largos de roca con fisuras perfectas, de las mejores fisuras que escale en Chamonix.
En ese momento hacia mucho frío (tal vez -12 o más) pero como escalamos al sol no fue tan duro.
Escalamos la ruta completa en 8 horas y luego bajamos al refugio requin 🦈.
Lo único malo en todo esto fue que un día después de bajar nos enteramos del terrible accidente en el cerro torre dónde amigos nuestros resultaron heridos y/o perdieron la vida. Por esta razón nunca se publicó nada.

On January 25th we climbed a line, variant, new route or whatever. It was an incredible experience with a high partner.
We started in the central channel where the Mercier route starts and then went straight up to the summit, we found amazing mixed pitches and rock pitches with perfect cracks, some of the best cracks I've climbed in Chamonix.
At that time it was very cold (maybe -12 or more) but as we climbed in the sun it wasn't that hard.
We climbed the whole route in 8 hours and then went down to the requin hut 🦈.
The only bad thing in all this was that one day after coming down we heard about the terrible accident on the Cerro Torre where friends of ours were injured and/or lost their lives. For this reason nothing was ever published.
