Hello Yogis!

I know there is so much happening in the world right now and my intention is not too add to the mental load but for us not to forget…

A quick google search will bring up that there could be around 70Million street dogs in India alone…

I visited ARC South Goa during my last visit and was completely overwhelmed with emotion seeing the disabled doggies scraping around and the sheer amount of puppies of all ages hoping to get a home…

However, it’s not about me, it’s about them. The animals.
Our fellow animals so worthy of their presence on this planet and so worthy of a life just like us humans.

When it comes to cats and dogs living on the streets, I feel so strongly about how we have let them down and abandoned them.

Dogs are domesticated wolves- they helped us survive as humans. We made them rely on us, then let them down.

It’s so difficult to stay optimistic with such high numbers but there are so many small charities doing AMAZING work, but they need help. They need funding to sterilise, treat, educate and re-home when they can.

So, I guess my plea to you today, is to be aware of this, talk about it with people, adopt and not shop for your animals and of course, please join me next month to raise some funds and enjoy a guided full yoga flow on the beach ❤️🙏

Recognizing that each exercise move, we do, every activity that we include in our daily routines has benefits beyond what is traditionally focused on allows the modern person to be able to develop all aspects of themselves without having to spend a tremendous amount of extra time. This is an Integrated Approach to Total Well Being. The alternative to this is to spend time every day, doing workouts for your body, reading books, listening to podcasts, and ingesting content for your mind. Spending time processing emotions inside of you. This will take a minimum of 3 to 4 hours to properly do all of this in one day. This is not practical for any person to maintain on a daily basis. And integrated approach to total well-being, allows us to recognize that our body, mind and emotions are all connected. Therefore, when we do physical exercise, it also affects the mind and emotions. My focus on mental principles, it also affects the body and emotions. And when we process our emotions, the way we feel, there’s a direct change in our mind and body.
