In September, we’re diving into the pike position—one of Pilates’ most powerful shapes for building core strength. The pike is everywhere—in Pilates, in sport, even in nature. It’s that folded V-shape that fires up the abs, builds resilience and connects us to the center.

This week, I had the privilege of meeting Sebastien Mihel, an exceptional Golf Pro at Mandelieu Old Course. He gave me a deep-dive into the fundamentals of golf – and how the body truly works in the sport.
The goal? To better understand how the body and its muscles are used in golf, how important control and awareness are – and how Pilates can support and improve those elements.
After the great response to May’s golf-themed newsletter, I will make another Pilates-based training video to help support golfers at all levels. But first, one more session with Sebastien awaits!
