Our friendly family run holiday complex is aimed at people wanting a relaxing break in the heart of the beautiful French countryside. With two lakes, one 4 acres and the other 1.5 acres, holding carp up to 40 pounds, with plenty of doubles, twenties and thirties. You also have the lodge overlooking both lakes with two bedrooms, both with double bed, kitchen and modern shower room, living room with sky tv, dvd equipment and large double sofa bed. Not forgetting the balcony that runs the whole length of the lodge and is fully covered by the roof making an ideal dining area come rain or shine, fitted with double gas bbq,wooden picnic table & chairs, making an ideal setting to take in the view of the lakes with a glass of w**e or two! The 8 acre site is host to all manner of bird life including buzzards,black kites, owls, kingfishers etc and the odd deer and badger roaming around.

Another silly hot 🔥 week ! And another family fishing holiday box ticked ✅
Simon joined us for the first time with his two boys Toby and Drew,he was also joined by his brother David. It was a breath of fresh air to see how well the two boys fished and there fish care was top draw 👏 They managed to land 41 fish for the week which considering the weather 😎 and continued lack of rain was very well angled 🎣
On top of the great angling I have to say that big fish top rod went to Simon in the Shallows who landed back to back fifties 52m and 51c 👏👏👏
And how well everyone left there swims and bivvys. Absolutely spotless 👍 thank you 😎

Another hot 🥵 week and a good result for Helen and Paul 😎 Fishing days only they managed to land 28 fish up to 49.8lb 🎣🎣🎣
Considering they went out on their bikes 🚲 most days to go to Super U and the restaurant not a lot of time was spent on the bank ! Sometimes there’s more to a holiday than just fishing 🎣 😎
The other two photos are of the remodelling of the shallows swim. Hopefully making landing fish a lot easier with the lower water levels we are experiencing but to be honest we are doing ok with only 5 inches down on the main lake unlike the small lake which is at least two feet down 😳

Well just before the fifth heatwave kicks in 🥵🥵
Thought i better let you guys and gals know what’s been happening over here ! The biggest news were the terrible wildfires we have had in France 🇫🇷.
They came pretty close a couple of times which was pretty scary 😟 but the fantastic job that the Sapeurs Pompiers 🚒 did was bloody brilliant 👏
On the fishing front it’s been surprisingly good 👍
Tony arrived for his two week summer holiday and even though fish were fizzing in a very large area they fancied naturals rather than boilies ! So by casting to an open water spot where they weren’t fizzing caught a few fish up to 48lb (guesstimate)
as Tony,s fish care is top draw 👏 His son Tom joined him for five nights of the second week and had a great time landing 18 fish to 49lb 🥳🥳🥳
Then John,Tom and Tim joined us for another silly hot 🥵 week and fished very well landing 37 fish to 49lb but only two photos as the fish care again was far more important 👏 Brilliant job guys 😍

Better late than never !!! Another barmy week 😉
Not a cloud in the sky all week and temperatures over 32 plus should have made the fishing difficult at best ! But the Walter’s clan made it look easy 😎
Aaron in Silverbacks right 25 fish to 42lb. Sean in silverbacks left 25 fish to 48lb. Lee in the unfancied Shallows had 22 fish to 47lb and Barry in TJ,s had 8 to 43lb. A mad total of 80 fish landed in very hot 🥵 conditions. 👏👏👏👏👏

Red letter week 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳
WoW WoW WoW What a mad week even by our standards 😎
Ian and Gil joined us to fairly hot 🥵 conditions but with a nice cooling northerly breeze. Team Mannion with Ian fishing and Gil ghillying for the week. Fishing days only !!! Ian soon found where the fish were and fished accordingly.
A massive total of 61 fish landed to one angler fishing days only 😍😍😍
2 fifties,7 forties and 21 thirties 🎣🎣🎣 plus numerous high twenties. Well done guys brilliant week 👏👏👏

The heat wave continues ! Next week’s forecast is looking pretty scary 😎 The fishing this week has been brutal ! Two fish landed so far with the fish showing quite well but refusing to take a bait 🤔

More importantly we have managed to move next week’s customers to a later date in the year 👏
So no stressing on fish safety and no work for us 🥳🥳🥳☀️☀️☀️
A big shout out to the Saga holidays Nottingham Dads Army for their understanding 🤣🤣🤣
And not forgetting Paul and Nat for their commitment in stupidly hot 🔥 conditions 👏
And a massive thanks for the food parcel you brought over 🥩🥩🍺🍺.

Two weeks in one ☝️
Andy ,Tony,Tom and Tony turned up full of hope since the fish were having some sexy time the week before ! Sadly the hot weather continued and by Tuesday the fish fancied something other than boilies 😍😍!! In fairness to the guys they stuck at it and fished well away from the spawning areas 👏
16 fish landed with the biggest landed on the last night taking the trophy 🏆 by Tony 😂😂😂
Maybe next time Tom 😉🤣

Army Andy and his wife Chris turned up to the fish resting up after and having a couple of fag 🚬 😂
Then a good Kip ! As the week went on the fishing improved with a total of 18 fish landed up to 50.01.
Andy also caught a 46lb common and a 42lb common plus ten mid thirties and five twenties 👍
Days only equaled a great result 🎣😎

Birthday week for Brian went better than expected with the 32/35deg heatwave with not a cloud in the sky 😎😎😎 and the 66 fish caught the week previously ! He was joined by Lee ,Bruce and Graham. After the first couple of days went really well I thought the fish would never spawn 😳 But little did we know that sexy time was just around the corner 😍 Some brutal scenes ensued
(How do they enjoy that ?) with some very large units joining in all of the fun 😍😍😍
All in all it was a great week on the fish front with 35 carp landed including 3 fifties 👏
And some serious laughs and let’s just say that we blew the froth off a few cold ones 🍺🍺🍺
Happy Birthday Brian it was a blast 💥

Graham managed to avoid all PB buckets last September ! So when he caught a PB mirror this year things had to change 🤣 A 51lb common followed by a 54lb common last year made two buckets 🪣 plus the 51lb mirror this week made three ! At least the temperature was 35deg 😎😎😎
