As clean and crisp as Captain’s whites themselves, Forward Madison set sail looking sharp!

A celebration of nautical lifestyle and sailing culture that stems from the five lakes of the isthmus that Madison straddles, there’s a hearty crew of pieces that make up their new Marina Collection but the jewel is, of course, their new Regatta jersey.

White, navy and a trim of gold is always a cracker of a combination but this one just looks so satisfying! The trim on the collar and those Hummel chevrons especially, give off that distinctive ‘Captain’ vibe whilst the stripes level it off with that sea-breezy, casual aesthetic.

It’s such a good look and when you take note of the golden club badge, the sailing club patch - which itself is a neat little piece! - and the nautical flags on the nape of the neck, then you’ve got a creation fit for deck and the pitch!

Even alongside all the accompanying pieces in the collection, it’s a fine, fine look.

Hands that have seen many a moment and a face that was witnessed history.

The 1954 World Cup Final at the original Wankdorf Stadium was watched by many - but none moreso than the clock that stood watch, high above in the corner tower, running the show to the beat. With as classic a face as could be, the very clock now resides outside the new stadium as a reminder and importantly, living history.

What once showed a permanent reminder of the famous 3-2 scoreline, now holds the score at 2-1, commemorating Young Boys 2018 league triumph that ended a long, long drought. The connection to the club deepens and were gifted this, alongside Bureau Borsche

The navy base carries a reminder too. That repeating pattern of the round minute-track laid into the grid form gives you that satisfying, uniform appearance, it’s neat! Then the pale-ish yellow and the lighter blue translate well over onto the sleeves, creating equally complimentary and contrasting tones. Loving how the cuff looks to have a minute-track encompass it too, lending a hand in the homage. Let’s not forget the icon at the bottom, the silhouette of what the clock once was!

The clock will get to take its place inside stadiums once again but this time it’ll be on the pitch!

A colour of success.

When you want others to know what it is you’re aiming for then there’s no louder way than on the pitch and sporting an away kit draped in gold!

The intention has been set, striving for success is the way and Portugal’s CD Nacional give themselves a constant reminder of that this season with a clean aesthetic.

As the club also celebrate their 115th birthday, the gold acts as a celebration as much as their future ambitions. It’s a simple creation where the colour does all the talking but backed up by some neat - almost retro or throwback - accompaniments. The polo collar with the insert gives it that feel exactly, adorned with the founding year then the pinstripes add a classy layer on which the club badge sits gloriously on top of, front and centre.

The Ominis of Kappa running down the shoulders are always good sight to see and all in all, makes for kit, laden in gold that doesn’t feel overdone, tacky or too shiny and on the nose!

Beyond the striking colours of US Sambenedettese third kit is something you may not expect or notice but it’s wonderful when you find out.

A poem, by local Bice Piacentini sees itself woven into this bright number that sings the praises of San Benedetto del Tronto and its alluring charm that no other city can compete with. The bluest of skies, the shiniest of seas and simply somewhere that no traveller can forget.

Those words are throughout the kit and provide the pattern that runs through. A message carried wherever the club may go.

The base matches that of the sea almost, where the red and blue accents carry over the clubs traditional identity, a bringing together of club and location with a way of words.

A celebrated poet and piece, it makes for a wonderful story and adds a combination of colours to the clubs collection that will certainly stand out!

Within the iconic walls of fabric - Leyton Orient drop us a third kit that looks like it belongs amongst the intense, electronic underground as much as it’s crafted for the pitch.

Where the home kit was traditional and had the throwback vibe, this new one is definitely not that. Embracing the lights, the sounds and the culture that makes east London’s nightlife famous!

This is a statement of creativity and that little bit twist with freedom and fashion that’s often working its way into the football world. It’s wacky but it needs it! The centralised, monochrome badges nestle in amongst the cracks, splatters.. madness.

It’s a ‘let loose’ that keeps that very Meyba aesthetic with their iconic shoulder pattern.

Leyton Orient let their hair down and turn the vibes right up and we’re absolutely here for it!

When the outdoors meets something admired from within, you can craft something that blends both and looks fantastic doing so.

That’s what Royale Union Saint-Gilloise have done for their new third kit where the green, green grass and flora of Duden Park in Brussels comes together with the historic stained glass window of the clubs century old West Stand. O’Neills know how to do it.

It’s such a rich shade of green that makes the base where the clubs traditional yellow and blue accompany, providing the details for the badges, collar and cuffs. Looking a little deeper into that green though, is where you’ll catch a glimpse of stadium history as the art-deco detailing of the window weaves itself down between the pinstripes, something often reserved to those who can access the members room in which it resides!

It’s for that classy look to it and the slight sheen lends to that especially when you’ve got that long sleeve version!

Reimagined and rebuilt brick by brick.

A historic piece of home weaves itself into the new Aalborg third kit, as their 1970’s clubhouse on Hornevej starts its journey of construction and expansion.

Infamous to the club, the yellow-bricked heart of their relocation all those years ago makes its way onto the latest creation alongside Societas. The embossed, brick-laden pattern looks so cool as it covers almost every inch of thread to make the look go as well as it does! Strengthened by the sharp white contrasting collar and details, it’s an homage that really is all about the bricks that laid a new foundation for AaB.

Even details like the brick size throughout the pattern seems to be an ideal size to make it all look equally strong and prestigious without an ounce of tacky about it.

Re-stepping onto the scene and making sure they look absolutely wonderful doing so, French amateur side La Ligugéenne make a statement.

A recent reinvention that brought about a new club crest and fresh aesthetic whilst being backed by Kappa and creatives at +3 Studio gifts us a new home kit that’s been crafted with intent.

First off, that badge is superb and will always love a club that steps away from tradition just a little bit to bring something new to the table. The sharp black base with subtle pinstripes and the contrasting polo collar and cuffs ooze confidence with refined swagger. Theres almost a silky look to it that makes it looks like it could belong in the fashion world amongst the higher classes but its not, its very much a football club about to take us by storm, we’re sure of it.

No sponsor either. Instead they’ve mastered their own wordmark that proudly puts their name across their chest and founding date, enhancing their re-introduction and doubling down on making their identity known.

A build settled on an outstanding foundation and we’re very much in for the ride and seeing what else is up their sleeves!

An ode to a workplace that wove itself into history, empowering the many, many women that would be a part of Jutificio Centurini - or the Centurini Jute Factory - and the female emancipation efforts within the city of Terri and the wider region.

Bright and bold, as always with a combination of the green and red but there’s a particularly rich feel to the tones. The defining feature for this new Ternana Women’s kit however is the bespoke all-over jute pattern, which acts as a direct homage to the trailblazing ‘centurinare‘ that worked in the factory and poured their efforts into the textile industry.

The gold lifts everything and gives it that level of prestige that also ties in to that wonderful badge and adding script with a tribute to past coach Fabio Melillo on the front and “Eternal Moments” on the neckline further that.

Everything just looks so satisfying together, where the stripes get the modern twist but the pattern carries over that piece of important history!

Architecture and history worth lauding.

Taking inspiration from the architecture of Ferrara and translating the distinctive hanging arches and pillars of the city, SPAL weave that look into their stripes for the season ahead and we’re loving the detail!

Under the House of Este, the city grew into a centre of renaissance art with the family leaving their architectural stamp on what we see today. The club merge that style with football and intertwine their solid, light blue stripes with illustrated pillars, bringing the sport and history together without overwriting either! It’s a good move that keeps the iconic stripes bold and strong but gains that elegance with the pillars standing sure between, a mix of the two worlds!

Flanked with gold detailing, it heightens the prestige and overall feel whilst we get to see the return of SPAL’s historic badge after a year away.

A kit that feels unmistakably Ferrara — where football and architecture meet and a legacy takes a new venture!
