One of France's prominent sailors living in Perth, Western Australia, Philippe, has covered more than 300,000 miles racing everything from monohulls to giant multihulls. He has competed in three around the world races and is a two-time holder of the Jules Verne trophy completing the circumnavigation within 50 days. Philippe has also competed in three America's Cup series, four Sydney to Hobart and three Fasnet Races; 1979, on Grégal with his father, in 1983 became champion of all divisions with Bernard Moureau and finally on Maxi Côte d'Or along side Eric Tarbarly.
