The Paris HEMA Open returns in 2027!

After an unforgettable first edition, we're proud to announce that The PHO 2027 is officially happening!
The event will once again take place in Spring 2027, with the exact dates to be revealed this September.
For this new edition, we've taken everything we learned from the 2026 tournament to make the experience even better.

Here's what you can expect:
- Higher quality of hits requirement
- A precise way to distinguish double and late hits
- The introduction of a double elimination system in the elims, giving every competitor more fencing throughout the tournament.

The goal remains the same: to offer intense, exciting, and rewarding HEMA competition for everyone.
Stay tuned, a lot more information, including the official dates, will be announced throughout the year.

A place on the sabre podium was still up for grabs!

Marta Guzdek and Justyna Wachowska delivered a fast-paced and technical women’s bronze medal match with has dropping parry riposte, while Michał P***k and Arthur Pourret went head-to-head in a fierce contest for the open bronze.

The stage was set for the sabre finals!

Melissa Kleiss and Minna Vasarainen met in a thrilling women's final, while Iason Arianoutsos and Szymon Komar did probably the most cautious saber match ever.

Four exceptional fencers, two spectacular bouts, and the perfect way to close an unforgettable sabre tournament.
