THE LAKE
Here at Fishabil we are blessed with an amazing body of water which offers anglers a limitless blend of fishing opportunities of which most styles are catered for. There is oviously plenty of long range work as you would expect on a lake of 85 acres in size.However do not be drawn into thinking that this is the only style of fishing available. Also ther is an arm of the lake that is ony 20 to 30 metres in width that runs for some 200metres in length.This is beautifully tree lined and although probably not suitable for a full weeks fishing,offers a great opportunity to rest your swim up and embark on a stealthy stalking mission. Fish are taken from all around the lake at all times of the year and you can be sure that if you are not on the fish that you want we will do all that we can to help. That being said if you want your own peace and solitude you will not find it hard to come by. Because of the massive stocking of fish in the lake anglers of all abilities are catered for, runs are a plenty and fish are many, all across the size and species range. The Lake at Fishabil offers 40 swims on the main body of water that includes 7 in the area known as The Back Bay or the West Bank as well as 4 swims for use in the day in the Kingfisher Reserve. With so many swims available it is clear to see that a move is always possible if you so desire as maximum of 20 anglers will ever be on the lake at any one time. Each bank will have the shared use of one of the Fishery rowing boats. However boats will also be available for personal hire at a cost of £100per week, there is also an option to hire a engine out for the week. No boats will be authorised for use without wearing a life jacket (provided). THE CENTRE
Facilities at Fishabil are second to none.We have a newly refurbished bar and dining room which caters for those anglers taking advantage of our all-inclusive packages. Satelite T.V is available in the bar and is available for any one to use if you should fancy an evening away from your rods. The centre has a beautiful shower room which I can personally guarantee is second to none.Seperate Male and Female toilets are also to be found in the main building. An ATV and trailor are on hand to transport your beloved tackle around the lake upon arrival and departure, and on occasion that a swim move is requested. Also at the centre you will find our Bait store which offers a selection of quality Baits and prepared particle, all of which are very reasonably priced at similar rates to the U.K. A tackle shop is also on site for those of you that haven't had time or forgotten to bring those essential tackle items or just fancy acquiring some new bits for the tackle collection. THE ACCOMODATION
Here at Fishabil as well as 40 newly overhauled swims we have two other separate types of accommodation to suit your requirements or your budget. Firstly we have 4 lakeside apartments all of which have been refurbished during the winter of 2012 . This work has been carried out to a very high standard, and the end results are beautiful and well equipped apartments that we are sure many anglers and their partners or guests will be able to thoroughly enjoy throughout the coming years. They are all equipped with twin or double beds, shower and toilet facilities, plenty of clothes storage and a kitchenette with dining table, and brand new freeview T.Vs. Pictures of the apartments can be viewed in the Gallery section of our website. Secondly we have rooms in our authentic 19th century millhouse which offers clean and basic accommodation made up of two double bedrooms and a quadruple room.A shared shower room is also available as is a separate w.c.This millhouse also includes the Fishery Dining room and kitchen facilities, so good food is never far away. Rooms are charged on a per person, per night basis and rates are included on our prices page. Having the Fishery buildings enables us to tailor specific trips to your requirements and makes us one of Frances best locations for family or corporate trips that allows everybody involved to sample some truly fantastic fishing in some wonderful surroundings.
