Today, we celebrate the visibility, strength and leadership of le***an women in sport and beyond. 🌍

As we mark the end of Le***an Visibility Week, we recognise the importance of visibility in creating safer, more inclusive environments. When le***an women are seen and heard, barriers are challenged, perceptions shift, and future generations are empowered to be themselves. 💛

At Proud Champions, we believe sport is stronger when every woman can compete authentically, safely and with dignity. 🤝

Today, we celebrate this day with Nikki Symmons 🇮🇪, former international field hockey player and LGBTQIA+ advocate.

As the first female athlete in Ireland to publicly come out, Nikki has helped pave the way for greater visibility and understanding. Through her work at Compete Proud, she continues to empower communities and create spaces where athletes can thrive as their true selves, leading the Proud Champions network. 🌈

Together, we continue to build a sporting world where le***an women are visible, valued and supported.

International Transgender Day of Visibility 🏳️‍⚧️

Today, we celebrate the visibility, courage and leadership of transgender people in sport and beyond. 🌍

At Proud Champions, we believe that sport is stronger when every athlete can compete authentically, safely and with dignity. Visibility matters, because it challenges barriers, shifts perceptions and creates space for future generations to thrive. 💛

Today, we are proud to highlight our ambassador Valentina Petrillo 🇮🇹, Paralympic athlete and a powerful voice for inclusion in sport. Through her journey and advocacy, Valentina represents the importance of lived experiences, visibility and the ongoing fight for equal rights in sport. 🤝

Her presence on the Paralympic stage at Paris 2024 and in global conversations around sport and human rights reminds us that inclusion is not just a principle, it is a responsibility shared by all of us.

Through and , we continue to work alongside athletes, organisations and civil society to build sporting environments where transgender people are respected, included and empowered at every level. 🌈

Let’s keep moving forward, together, towards a sport that truly belongs to everyone.

🌈 Pride House Milan 2026: Visibility, Legacy and the Power of Sport

During the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026, Pride House Milan 2026 became a space where sport, inclusion and human rights came together through dialogue, visibility and leadership.

From the powerful Out & Proud conversation with openly LGBTQ+ Olympians and allies, to discussions on human rights and inclusion in sport, Pride House brought together athletes, organisations and advocates working to make sport safer and more welcoming for everyone.
The programme concluded with a symbolic moment: the handover of the Pride House flag to Pride House LA – West Hollywood, continuing a journey that connects Olympic cycles — from Vancouver 2010 to Paris 2024, Milan 2026 and now LA 2028.
