Avec le retour du , on reprend la meme boucle dans le rayon de 1km et on repart pour 5.61km /tour...

Le temps se raccourcit, le boulot s’amplifie (enfin...), la rentrée est là, mon oeil prend du temps à apprendre sa nouvelle vie et .... notre fils Thibault va renouveler avec l’anesthésie générale et l’opération de son oeil unique après 1an et demi de break 😓
Mais malgré tout, j ai pris le temps d aller faire 10km ce matin après 10j de rien et 1 mois et demi de presque rien...et bien vous savez quoi ? Cela

Days are shorter, work is starting again (finally...), lids are back to school,my eye is taking its time to adapt to its new life and.. our son Thibault is back with General anesthesia and eye surgery after 1.5yrs of break.. 😓 i took the time to do 10km after 10 days of nothing and over a month of not much... and you know what ? It helps...

Après presqu un mois off j ai repris le chemin de la foret de Saint Germain en Laye... une seance de 10km qui m a laissé de bonnes courbatures aux jambes et à chercher mon souffle comme un 🐟 hors de l eau... heureusement 2 chevreuils se sont invités pour me donner une excuse pour faire une pause non méritée.... 😂
le reste du programme de Reprise en VMA va etre que du bonheur! Merci coach 😬

Back in the runners on the forest trails behind home after nearly 1 month off.
Legs are sore and felt like a fish out of the water... got lucky to have 2 dears giving me an excuse to stop for a little while 😂
The rest of the weekly program gonna be very interesting 🤔 prepare some oxygen tanks !!

Mon oeil...
Meet my eye...

Il y a une semaine et demi, des flotteurs petits mais nombreux... puis vendredi aprem dernier des flashs. Direction le cabinet d un pote Optha spécialiste en rétine et verdict, déchirure ancienne (que je ne connaissais pas... la bonne grosse tache en bas à 7/8h..) qui semble se prolonger d ou les flash... du laser, du repos et pas de sport pendant au moins 10j.... demain on fait un check ! 🤞🏻que l on a arrêté cela, sinon mon oeil sera pas dans le meme etat

Early last week, flotters small but numerous in my right eye, then last friday arvo some flashes... after a quick chat with Ophthalmologist friends who said 👉🏻 emergency ! I called a friend who is Retina specialist for a laser session (and the discovery of a largish older tear...). Rest and no sport or runs for at least 10days. Hopefully i will back in my runners sometime soon, in the meantime i have a permanent eyelash like flotter in my eye... just has to hope that the laser worked...😓

Avec le Covid et les contraintes, il faut faire chapeau bas aux organisateurs la region Madame La Maire et M. le Prefet d’avoir pris la décision courageuse de maintenir et organiser la course....
De nombreuses courses s annulent encore malgré ce succès montrant les difficultés qu’ils ont du rencontrer.

With the Covid and the constraints imposed on all, i wanted to take my hat off to the organizers of the region and mayor of . It was a very well organized race, and very courageous on their behalf to take on the challenge of organizing such a trail race. Seing still numerous races being cancelled we can image the challenges encountered...

Mon énorme problème sont les descentes, mes genoux ne tiennent pas et je n arrive pas à courir...

First since 2007.... it took me 08h to finish my very first 40km and first 2600m gain..
My biggest issue are the downhills as my knees are really struggling and I can t run..
But very happy to be a on this race...
A great for the team who made this happen and

De retour sur la cote pour la course de dimanche (et vider le grenier de mes parents de mes affaires...), petit 45min sur les collines de
7km 250m de D+ et pas trop chaud.. que du bonheur surtout après 9h de route !

Back on the for the Salomon Ubaye trail on Sunday. A quick 45min run in the hills behind Cannes after 9h of driving !

Premier dossard depuis.... 13ans et 3x la distance...!! Mon coach a dit tu devrais faire une course pour te tester un peu... voilà c est booké Dimanche 09 aout à au salomon.
42km et 2500m de D+ cela va piquer dur mais je devrais être dans les cut off.. reste plus qu a devenir !

First race in... 13 years and over 3x the previous distance ! My coach said following the report of the Georgia race to find something to try me out. Here it is.. next sunday Aug. 9th 42km 2500m gain in behind Nice... i should be within the cutoff times, now just need to become a finisher...
