Northern Beaches own sailing legends are heading off to compete in the Olympics this year.

The guys compete in the sailing - 49er circuit - and have been winning competitions around the world for years.

Delighted to be able to mention their tireless efforts to get selected and now be heading off to the Olympics.

They’re one of the first sports up! So keep an eye out.

The guys will depart on Saturday for some training before coming back and leaving with the team in a few weeks.

11th in the World! Satisfied with a Worlds PB despite feeling like we left some points on the table during the finals. Lanzarote threw everything at us over 6 days of racing, and we are proud of the week we put together. A huge thank you to our support team both overseas and back at home. Next stop Palma 💪

Always good getting back into some chaos with 40 boats on the same course and capping off what has been a very productive training block in here in the Canarias. Looking forward to returning for the Worlds in March 💪

49er and Women’s iQFOiL Paris Olympic quotas secured on final day of Sail Sydney Australia added two more Paris 2024 Olympic nation quotas on the final day of Sail Sydney

3 days into Sail Sydney 2023, which also doubles as our Oceania Olympic Country Qualifier. Some great racing on the harbour with a mix of conditions, currently on top of the leaderboard with 2 days to go. Loving every minute!

Started the Euros well, but a disastrous day 2 meant we had plenty of work to do to make up the points gap to gold fleet, and we couldn’t quite get the job done yesterday.

We put a huge amount of work in leading up to this event and are gutted that we now won’t be able to fight for the pointy end, but we will use the next few days of silver fleet racing to work on our weaknesses and ultimately we will come back stronger as a result.

Australia announces Olympic Test Event Team Australia has announced its 12-strong group of sailors set to represent the nation at this year’s Paris 2024 Test Event

After some time off we spent a week training in Belgium before kicking off the World Cup in the Netherlands. A fairly under attended regatta, we have been using the opportunity to kick some process goals identified from Palma and Hyeres. The racing has been good fun in glamour (but cold!) conditions. Heading into tomorrows medal race in 4th with a good battle for the podium on our hands. Medal race kicks off at 2pm local time, live tracking on SAP 💪
