Little things that make a difference.

A few days ago, I noticed that one of my clients seemed a little hesitant to use the hand towel hanging on the wall, which was there for everyone to share.

So, I ordered some baskets and arranged individual hand towels for each client to use.

I didn’t overthink the reason behind the hesitation. I simply thought that if a small change could make the experience more comfortable, why not make it?

Sometimes, it’s the little things that make a difference.

Travel Reflection: Barcelona, Spain

My husband surprised me with the best birthday gift; a trip to Spain. We visited Park Güell, Casa Milà, and Casa Vicens, and I found myself completely taken by Gaudí’s architecture. His work moves through time; bold, thoughtful, and full of life.

What surprised me most was how these buildings, so different from anything in my home country, somehow made me think of home. And that’s when I realized, I’m homesick. After six years of putting down roots in France, that feeling caught me off guard.

Maybe it’s what travel does. It opens us up, stirs what we’ve tucked away, and reminds us where our heart still belongs.
