🏁 IWF26 – IAME Warriors Final | Zack Zhu Fights Hard to Finish P6! 🇮🇹

The 2026 IAME Warriors Final concluded at the Leopard Circuit in Viterbo, Italy, with Zack Zhu securing P6 after an intense week of racing.

It was far from an easy weekend. Zack struggled with a significant straight-line speed deficit compared to his main rivals. Despite several gearing adjustments, finding the right balance proved difficult: longer gearing offered more potential top speed but compromised low-end power and acceleration out of corners.

Nevertheless, Zack showed impressive determination throughout the event. Qualifying P13, he charged through the field to finish P5 in the opening heat. Despite penalties affecting his second heat, he fought back with consistent performances to secure P8 overall after the qualifying heats, followed by P6 in the Super Heat.

🔥 An Intense Final – Fighting Like a Lion!

Starting from P8, Zack made a spectacular start, fighting his way up to P2 in the opening laps! He initially matched the pace of the front-runners, showing his potential to compete at the sharp end of the field.

However, from lap three onwards, while his rivals continued to improve their pace, Zack was unable to match their speed. The engine performance deficit became particularly noticeable on the straights, leaving him vulnerable to overtaking.

Despite the disadvantage, Zack fought like a lion until the very last lap! 🦁💪

He defended every position with determination and courage, while maintaining clean, fair and respectful racing throughout the battle.

After an exhausting fight, Zack crossed the finish line in P6.

🏆 IWF26 | Final Result: P6

Although he couldn’t hold on to his early position at the front, this race highlighted Zack’s racecraft, fighting spirit and resilience in the face of technical challenges.

Racing isn’t just about outright speed. It’s also about determination, character and never giving up.

🏁 Champions of the Future Round 4 – Kristianstad 🇸🇪

What an incredible week! ✨ On a completely new circuit for me, I achieved my best results of the season so far. and it's also the best result for Chinese karting drivers 🇨🇳 so far

With only 3 days of pre-race testing to learn this very technical track, we worked tirelessly as a team to maximize every session. 💪

Qualifying: P5 in my group, P13 overall. Not exactly where we wanted to be, but still a solid starting point.

The heats were fantastic: 🥇 1 victory and 🥈 4 second-place finishes. Together with my teammate Teo, we worked as a team throughout the races, and our strategy paid off brilliantly for both of us. 🤝

Starting from pole position in the Super Heat, I led every lap from start to finish to secure another 🥇 victory. That result also put me P1 in the intermediate classification, a great reward for all the hard work!

The Final was an intense battle. After losing a few positions during the race, I crossed the finish line in P12. Of course, we were aiming for more, but every race is another opportunity to learn, improve, and come back stronger. 📈

Now it's full focus on next week's FIA Karting European Championship. We're ready to keep pushing! 🔥

🇩🇪 FIA Karting European Championship – Round 3, Mülsen, Germany
☔ Completly different whether than last week. First time racing in rain conditions on this track. Very challenging conditions due to the constantly changing weather and difficult setup decisions.
✅️ But still a weekend of resilience, progression, and valuable championship points in one of the toughest OK Junior fields in the world.
Against more than 90 drivers from across Europe, Zack continued his FIA Karting European Championship campaign with solid pace, strong racecraft, and consistent progress throughout the event.

🌦️ Rain started falling midway through the race, causing absolute chaos.
The final result does not reflect the speed, consistency, and competitiveness we demonstrated throughout the weekend.
Against one of the strongest OK Junior fields in Europe, Zack showed genuine front-running pace. After a strong qualifying performance, he struggled through the first four heats and dropped to P53 overall. However, he fought back impressively to P14 thanks to an excellent Heat 5 (P4 to P2) and a superb Super Heat recovery (P13 to P3).
