📣 BODY PROPORTION - Is It Genetic ?

How your body looks when you become fit doesnt only depends on genetics.

Not every fit person looks as good for the same amount of muscle and bodyfat, depending on balance and proportions.

This is not a consequence of genetic features, its a consequence of the exercices you practice.

If you'r whole body is build mainly on bench presses, you have a certain look.

If you'r whole body is build mainly on rowings and dead lift movements like a powerlifer, you get a different look.

If you are a gymnastics rings specialist, another look.

There is nothing worst than training, getting muscles, and still looking bad because you are out of proportions.

📣 To my eyes, good balance requires you to work on PULLING exercices as a dominant aspect.

Dont ever become stronger at pushing exercices than at pulling ones !!

You'll develop imbalances in your body which will both look bad and render you more susceptible to injuries.

In the bodyweight world this means starting with... PULL UPS

Pull ups are fondational. If you want to build yourself with bodyweight you need to start by increasing your pull ups to at least 25 reps 🏆

Then you HAVE to go to front lever practice (starting with the tuck front lever) there is a complete tutorial on my page .

Of course you still have to do pushing strength but you should always strive to do AT LEAST the equal amount of pulling work if not more !

That's how you will look more balanced as well as making your body less prone to injuries 💯

I feel like people over do pushing strength because they think the chest is what makes the front of their body impressive. But counterintuitively what most people lack from the front is not chest its arms and forearms.

Most gym buddies have an overdevelopped chest compared to their arms and that doesnt look so natural in my opinion.

To conclude focus on PULLING strength and ARMS if you want to harmonize your body ✅️✅️✅️

🔥How to Develop Abs at Home🔥

As a gymnastic/calisthenic athlete you build the most of your core strength with levers.

Front lever practice is basically upper body strength coupled with a dragon flag so it gives you a wonderful core workout everytime ✅️

👉The second thing is regular abdominal workouts with sit ups and variations.

I know there has been a trend a few years ago where people began to say that crunches hurt your back and dont really work out the abs or whatever, and all of a sudden we needed all of those weird exercices fitness people do to work out our abs 😅

Any 8 minutes abs quality workout (quality meaning with upper, lower abs and obliques variations) you can find where you have to do various sit ups in a row , is definitely the kind of workout to implement 2-3 times a week if you really want your abs to stand out 💯

My all time favorite is Valerie Turpin's 8 minutes abs workout (you can find it on youtube)

*disclaimer* : It's only 8 min but its HARD 🤣

And OF COURSE the lower your bodyfat the better your abs will look ✅️

🔥 Try the 8 min Valerie Turpin's workout and let me know what you think in the comments 👇

Shout out to Valérie Turpin for her great workouts 🙏👏🏆

📣📣📣 Why You CAN'T Get Rid of LOW VITAMIN D

Did You Know That Vitamin D Is Not a Vitamin; It's a Hormone?

It actually belongs to the same category as all other steroid hormones like testosterone, estrogens, cortisol and so on.

And just like the other hormones it is produced by your own body from CHOLESTEROL.

For the most part this hormone is supposed to be produced by your own body (from cholesterol), while the rest can be consumed.

👉 So first of all vitamin D (if we have to call it like this) is a FAT SOLUBE vitamin which means if you eat a low fat diet like everyone else, it doesn't matter that you eat a vitamin D rich diet because you won't be able to absorb it.

👉The second thing is remember most of your vitamin D is supposed to come from your own body. And the issue is chronically elevated levels of insulin (induced by chronically excessive consumption of carbohydrates, or the standard diet) blocks the transformation of cholesterol into downstream Vitamin D.

The exact same process is what causes people to have low testosterone too.

And the only way to correct for this is to eat a LOW CARB HIGH FAT DIET ✅️

So in short if you can't find a way to deal with your low Vitamin D, try a KETONIC DIET

🔥There is only ONE real reason my friends...

There is an old strong men proverb about it  : THE STRENGTH OF A MAN COMES FROM HIS FOREARMS 🔥🔥👊🤣🏆🏆🏆🫡

Will i go as far as saying strong forearms is what differentiate the real strong men from the sea of amateurs ? Definitely 🤷🤣🔥

If you suffer from a lack of forearms like i use too you can find my TRX forearm workout on my page 😁🤣👉👉👉

📣 We almost all think of nutrition in these terms : wether we eat unhealthy and it's pleasurable, or we eat healthy and it's not pleasurable.

That's why coachs tell obese people all over the world that they are to blame : because THEY (supposedly) choose pleasure themselves, where they could have chosen health.

So first it's simply not true : eating unhealthy is always contaminated by negative feelings of remorse, or negative health consequence, even though it taste good. And eating ealthy IS pleasurable if you only know how to do it. Carbs behave like any drug so when you are off it, you don't even crave them anymore and then what remains are your cooking skills ! Of course it can be pleasurable ! What about any good meat with thyme honey sauce and fried peperoni?Provided you don't pour half the honey bottle in of course, you can make it perfect keto requirements.

Now... Keep in mind i use to be obese and let the next sentences go through your brain :

I use to get my pleasure and endorphins from carbs

Now i get it with gymnastics, climbing keto eating and so on

But i still get the same thing right ?

I still get pleasure,  i still get endorphins

What i don't have, is the obesity and the healths problems

So i do not trick other people nor myself into thinking i was weak and now i'm strong i was always myself

I have just been presented a healthier way to get pleasure, and have been guided all along until it was a solid habit.

People with obesity have a vulnerability to it from childhood by getting too much carbs too soon, we can't blame them for their childhood.

Others have been introduce to physical activity and healthy eating as young children and those have almost 0 chance to become obese.  Do you still think they deserve a medal about this ?

I have to say gratefulness looks more appropriate than pride at least to me !

We can't help each other with shametalking, only with honest conversations about reality.

The reality about solving obesity is you need only two things : the right information and support during change. Those two are enough !

🔥KETO IS THE EASIEST DIET🔥

Which one do you think is harder to accomplish :

-Having crack only once a week
-Never ever do crack

👇

I know i know... Bald comparison ?

But explain to me the obesity and metabolic diseases epidemic if carbs are not that addictive ?

In reality it's even kind of worst with carbs because not only are they so powerfully addictive, they are also so easily accessible today you can get them EVERYWHERE and they are the CHEAPIEST food.

🔥 But because carbs obviously are a drug the only hard part with going keto is the TRANSITION.

You experience the kind of cravings any other type of addict would experience.

But after this you'r like an ex crack user you don't even experience no cravings at all you are FREE

You stay ripped with little to no control or frustration AT ALL

Do me a solid try the ketogenic diet

🔥 If you are determined and methodic enough to make it through the transition what you will find on the other side is a type of health, freedom and well being you never thought was even POSSIBLE.

📣 "Human Ancestors Were Nearly All Vegetarians"

That's the title of a 2012 article by the journal Scientific Americain and it's the first link to pop up when you ask google "were our ancestors plant based ?"

The article then goes on to deliver 10000 words to supposedly convince us that contrary to popular belief, our ancestors were indeed primarily plant based.

As 2012 correlate with the beginning of the boom in vegetarianism that continues to this day, i'm afraid this article needs to be debunked so please do me a solid and considere these lines of reasoning :

We diverged from chimps about 7 millions ago.

But we had about the same brain capacity for the following 5.5 million years.

Only 1.5 millions years ago did our brain capacity started to dramaticaly increase until it was more than 2.5 times its original size.

Scientists today think that this is not a coincidence, as this correlate with the time our ancesors firstly discovered how to use fire and invented cooking.

The reason being that brains are so energy costly that you can't biologicaly afford to have a bigger brain even when you eat 9 hours per day like gorillas, UNLESS you PREDIGEST what you eat by cooking it on fire.

But please explain to me then what other type of food than meat is made easier to digest by cooking ?

😁

You HAVE to grant me that anybody can eat a raw tomatoe.

But eating raw meat is mostly reserved to Liverking AM I RIGHT ?🤣

I don't know about you but to my eyes this makes it undeniable that what made us human is not a plant based diet.

What we were cooking on those fire must be meat because cooking vegetables doesn't even make no digestive difference.

Predigesting animal products by cooking them on fire is what allowed us to get enough energy for our brain to develop from ape size to human size.

Don't let some silly scientist convince you otherwise.

Evolutionarily, you ARE optimized to eat ketogenic at least 3/4th of the year because carbohydrates were only avaiable in season during pre argicultural times.

Or maybe just point out where i'm wrong in the comments, i'd be happy to be proven wrong 👇🙏

📣 KEEP TRYING

I went off road and put up 9 pounds of fat from 136 to 145 pounds.

Now i've been trying to fast for 3 days to quickly come back on track and for 3 days i failed every day 🤦‍♂️

The failures have been less and less important though.

I have been able to analyze and adjust my environement along with whatever i can adjust to make it easier for me to succeed my fast.

I did lost weight in those 3 days but i also did fail my fast.

However i'm going to try again every day UNTIL i reach my goal weight and when i go off road i'll do this again as soon as i realize i've gone off road and this process NEVER stops

I'm only 9 pounds away from my ideal weight but i already take it SERIOUSLY

It's either this, or i'm going to end up compromising my health as i already did, and end up standing in the shower asking myself where it all went wrong.

If you know my story you know i did end up weighting 220 pounds of fat once already (i'm 5 feet 9) 🤷

Everytime you fail TRY AGAIN NEVER STOP

Failed ? TRY AGAIN

If you can do this, you WILL accomplish your goals 🏆

If you can't do this, well...

📣 Most Doctors Are Clueless About Keto

Less than 5% of health practitionners advocate for a ketogenic diet.

So how could it be such a cure all ?

Nutritionists supposedly go beyond fad diets and "help you find a diet that is actually fit for you and your lifestyle."

How has this work out for people ?

The world gets more and more populated with nutrition coaches AND with metabolicaly sick people at the same time EVERY DAY.

Dont you see the problem ?

It just gets worst every day, relentlessly numbers go up no matter all of the "advices" those 95% of nutritonists are giving people.

Dont take my word for it just keep looking at the statistics for obesity, inflammatory diseases and so on and watch them continue to rise and rise.

The thing is it's more accurate to say numbers go up BECAUSE of these 95% of nutritionists's "advices".

📣📣📣 Until we get 95% of health practionners to advocate for a KETO healthy diet, instead of this whole food "whole carbs are great" lunacy, UNTIL then the number will keep rising.

Feel free to check the stats every year, then you can decide for yourself when you want to begin advocating for keto like me 💯

📣🧠☕️ COFFEE IS YOUR BRAIN'S ALLIE

Coffee has been shown to increase KETONE levels which makes it an allie for your brain's health 👇

Remember they said your brain need carbs and since then diseases have exploded.

Brain diseases on YOUNGER people like parkinson and alzheimer under 50 have exploded too.

🧠 It's TRUE that CERTAIN cells in your brain (Schawnn cells) are glucose obligatory meaning they need glucose to function.

🧠💡That's why even on keto only 75% of your brain runs on ketone, the rest is still glucose.

Remember even if you don't consume carbs your liver will produce all the NECESSARY glucose, which is why keto eaters like me don't have a blood glucose of 0 😅💯💯

❌️🚫But on high carbs or a standard diet, that is 100% of your brain cells that runs on glucose, and 75% of them don't need to.

Infact they NEED ketones for good health, that is what they are use to EVOLUTIONARILY ✅️💯💯

The negative aspect of coffee is too much of it HAS been correlated with kidney problems !

Just hit yourself with a couple cups a day, don't go crazy with it and you have an incredible asset ☕️✅️

I start almost every day with coffee and i don't shy from a few more cups in the afternoon especially if i feel vulnerable to carb cravings, because it has a STRONG satiety effect (which make sense when you know it increases ketones).

📣 And as thecarbaddictiondoc said you can replace your kidneys, but you can't replace your brain...
