ENTERTAINMENT 💗

We offer a number of on-site activities to enhance your visit to the Pour l'Amour du Fil show: you can take part in the contest or take part in the Treasure Trunk to try your hand at winning prizes, attend a session of the Plateau TV to learn more about a technique or an artist, or settle in to the Make & Take area to create a small patchwork or embroidery project with teachers Oriane la Grande Rouge and Carmen from the Cousu Main show on M6! So, what will you be tempted by?

Some thirty artists set down their suitcases for the duration of the show in Nantes to present their textile exhibitions, each more extraordinary than the one next to it! From the Netherlands to Korea, Japan and Australia, many countries were represented, making the Salon Pour l'Amour du Fil an internationally renowned event in terms of exhibitors, exhibitions and visitors who travelled from all over the world to attend!

Côté règlement du concours, nous avons tenu compte de vos suggestions afin d’équilibrer les chances pour tous : les participants seront répartis en 2 catégories : Professionnels & Amateurs et dans chacune des catégories nous distinguerons les oeuvres en patchwork & les autres techniques !

We're delighted to announce the theme of the 2024 competition, which is "La Vie en Rose"!! A reference to Edith Piaf's famous song! The song is a clue to the theme, but La Vie en Rose is just your version of Life in Pink! As for the rules of the contest, we've taken your suggestions into account to balance the chances for all: participants will be divided into 2 categories: Professionals & Amateurs and in each category, we'll distinguish between patchwork & other techniques! There are some great prizes to be won, so don't miss this opportunity to take part and reveal yourself! 😉

Nos fidèles exposants ont partagé cette année l'Espace Commercial avec des créateurs présents sur les Corners, le Pôle Couture et le Pôle Ethique, des nouveautés qui ont fait l'unanimité, apportant modernité et fraîcheur au salon ! En tout, cela représente une centaine d'exposants triés sur le volet et venus pour certains des confins de la planète (l’Australie !) ou Etats-Unis, Japon, Corée du Sud et l’Europe entière pour offrir à notre public de passionnés des Arts du Fil le meilleur des fournitures pour la création et une tonne d’inspiration ! This year, our loyal exhibitors shared the Sales Space with designers present on the Corners, the Sewing Pole and the Ethical Pole, novelties that were unanimously acclaimed, bringing modernity and freshness to the show! All in all, a hundred or so hand-picked exhibitors, some of them from the farthest distance on the globe (Australia!) or the USA, Japan, South Korea and the whole of Europe, offered our public of Yarn Arts enthusiasts the very best in creative supplies and a ton of inspiration!
