10 years ago, Algerian club hockey took an important step forward.

Corsaires Hockey Club - Algeria was founded to represent Algeria at the African Club Championship in Rabat, becoming the country’s first ice hockey club.

A decade later, Algerian club hockey continues to grow. This month, another Algerian club, fennecs__hc will represent our country at the Amerigol Intl. Hockey Assoc LATAM Cup in Miami, continuing the journey that began ten years ago.

While there is still plenty of work ahead, we’re proud of how far we’ve come. From one pioneering club to an expanding hockey community, every step brings us closer to our long-term goal of establishing a thriving domestic hockey scene in Algeria.

Happy 10th anniversary to HC Corsaires, and good luck to HC Fennecs as they prepare to represent Algeria in Miami. 🇩🇿🏒
