Stuart made the brave move to leave Hoerskool Bredasdorp and move away from home and his family to go to Garsfontein where he's gone on to shine and make himself one of the best wings in school boy rugby , an inspiration to so many young kids that if you work hard and get an opportunity you take it with both hands. An excellent wing , got the height, speed, and incredible skills to develop and grow into a top player at the highest level. Bulls are getting a gem, but he's still got a job to do for the Bulls at craven week and hopefully in the green and gold for the SA U18s.

25th of march 2023 Nchutu Kepe posted on Facebook that he dreams of making it to craven week and now on the 28th of May 2025 that dream is now a reality as the Queens star has been picked in the border craven week side
Kepe still only U17 has been balling like crazy for Queens in 2025 and moving like a player the belongs at the top , one of the best wings in school boy rugby this year. He has an incredible story getting to where he is now, and this is still only the beginning.

Lions get one of the games biggest Gems , Ethan Adams is a Lion!
I’ve said it before the Lions recruitment does not miss , global school boy star Ethan Adams has signed for the Lions. X factor , flair and a rare game breaking ability Adams has been one of the best school boy players in the world over the last two years . But even while doing all that he’s still been disrespected , but as Affies learned the hard way when someone is the real deal they’ll always show their quality. Shout-out to SuperSport schools for giving us all a front row seat to the Ethan Adams high school show so far and best believe there is more to come in the next few months.

One of this generations biggest school boy stars has agreed a deal in principal with the sharks and will officially sign a Three year deal once he turns 18 in August. It’s been a while since a school boy player has caught my attention like Siyaya has , he really is the full deal , a player you’d happily pay to watch. He’s got so much to his game , so much aura and swagger. Type of player we’ll be speaking about at the highest level very soon. Just another one of these special players who’s on a different path to the rest , we’re blessed to be watching the beginning of a special career.

A special word on their captain Jeffrey Niland who is a born leader of men, The white jersey with 6 on the back will forever be iconic at Queens and then their mercurial playmaker Mveli Mqulo who is currently walking on water and balling out of his mind, two special players leading from the front. 33-28 , 5 point win , 5 years after their last W vs DHS some things are just meant to be. The biggest stars in KZN rugby put on a show on Bowdens. Big games are often decided by the finest of margins and yesterday it was decided by JadeWill Koopmans right boot , he was absolutely clinical off the tee, known for his slick ball playing ability and running rugby yesterday we saw another side to him where he let his kicking do the talking and stepped up big time just days after people questioned his Craven Week selection blah blah blah they’re not talking now are they ? The scrumcap , the iconic jog and swagger Koopman and the 2025 Griffons continue to write their names in Westville and KZN rugby history.

Quintin Potgieter stays home as WP keep another one of their own.
WP recruitment is moving brazy as Quintin Potgieter signs with WP and The Stormers , another extremely talented eightman from Ceres and plays like Cam Hanekom, too. Potgieter is currently putting on a clinic in school boy rugby for Paarl Gim , still so much more to come from him in the Gim jersey, province craven week jersey and the green and gold later this year.
He has such unique qualities and an ability to turn nothing into something. Exciting career ahead for Potgieter , real baller

AJ Meyer to the Stormers
Grey College , Cheetahs and SA Schools star lock has signed for The Stormers and WP rugby.
Meyer was a star in 2024 and came into 2025 as the best Lock in the country and despite and ankle injury has walked back into rugby and kept dominating. A well rounded Lock and rugby player , excellent at Lineout time , skilful and good ball carrier with fantastic work rate. WP with more good business after the Brits signing , Meyer is a player who could be fast tracked into senior rugby

Just a boy from Strand, 100 games for the Gaz
He was the one, he is the one and always will be the one. The boy from Strand has gone from a schoolboy star to a global star as Gaza plays his 100th game for the Stormers, 100 games for his boyhood club, and 100 games for his home province. Balled out like crazy in the hoops of WP rugby at age group level and now is already a Stormers great at the age of 27
Time to celebrate greatness, we’ve been so blessed to watch Damian Willemse’s career he’s gone from being a schoolboy star to one of the best in the game, and we’ve been so blessed to have a front-row seat. One of the many things that makes him so special is that he lived up to the hype and more. Since a young age he’s had all the bright lights on him, all the expectation, and what he’s archived at the age of 27 is extraordinary, and there is still so much more to come.
