🍚 Carb Cycling indicates that you consume more carbohydrates one day and less the following day. Then, depending on your degree of activity, you continue to switch between the two.

🍚 When you cut carbs for a few days, you may experience:
1. Sleep Problems
2. Fatigue
3. Constipation
4. Bloating
5. Mood Problems
It is also known as “carb flu"

🍚 Concrete example : everything has to be adapted to you, don't copy and paste 🚫
Day 1 (high-intensity workout): 175-275 grams of carbs
Day 2 (light-intensity workout): 100-125 grams of carbs
Day 3 (high-intensity): 175-275 grams of carbs
Day 4 (light-intensity): 100-125 grams of carbs
Day 5 (high-intensity): 175-275 grams of carbs

🍚 Choosing to get into a carb cycling diet is due to personal preference.
Important : If using carb cycling for fat loss, ensure that your protein intake is adequate and you maintain a calorie deficit. This is the only way for fat loss to occur

All forms of carbohydrates are digested into monosaccharides (simple sugars) before they’re absorbed by the body, regardless of whether the original source was a spoonful of sugar or a bowl of oatmeal.

🍠 Generally speaking, complex carbohydrates are digested at a slower rate than simple carbohydrates, given they contain a larger amount of fiber, however, that does not mean that all simple carbohydrates are a poor choice and all complex carbohydrates are a good choice.

🥯Simple carbohydrates are found in many whole foods, such as fruits and milk, and complex carbohydrates can be found in many refined foods, such as baked goods, making them a less-than-ideal choice.

I suggest instead of focusing on the type of carbohydrate, simple or complex, it is best to focus on the amount of fiber, vitamins, and mineral present, and whether the item in question is a whole food or not.

Waist trainers don't help you burn fat and it can be counterproductive.

Any weight loss from wearing a waist trainer is more likely to be due to increased sweating than to any loss of body fat. Water weight..
Waist trainers work in a similar way to corsets, which fell out of fashion due to discomfort and health concerns.

Waist trainers provide a waist slimming effect, but it is only temporary. They do not provide permanent change and will not aid meaningful weight loss.

Moreover it includes certain risks: breathing difficulties, digestion issues, and organ damage due to long-term use.

Stick to fixing your diet and workout instead of looking for quick fixes and pills, it just a waste of money.

Rapid fat loss that some people want to promote on social media is just BS.
If you want to lose weight, you have to work for it. Period.

BCAA (branched chain amino acids) are useless and why you lose money buying them: READ CAPTION 👇👇

- Amino acids are basically the building blocks of protein and muscle. There’s a total of 22 different amino acids, with 9 of them being classified as essential amino acids - simply meaning that our body can’t produce them and we have to ingest them through various protein sources.

3 of these 9 essential amino acids are particularly effective at increasing protein synthesis and can thus be viewed as the more important amino acids for muscle growth.

These 3 amino acids (leucine, isoleucine, and valine) are exactly what make up the supplement BCAA’s. So technically, BCAA's are just like any other complete protein (Whey, eggs, etc.) but with only 3 of the 9 amino acids.

You need all 9 of the essential amino acids present. NOT just the 3 that make up BCAA’s.
This makes the BCAA’s you consumed pretty much useless if taken alone, since you also need adequate amounts of the other 6 amino acids.

BCAA’s don't provide any benefit over other protein sources that have all 9 essential amino acids and are likely inferior to them

- Drop your calories to the absolute minimum to try to lose weight fast?

Once you ate again, your weight starts to go up and you lose all your gains

PHYSIQUE UPDATE: My 3 months transformation from February 10th to May 10th 😃

As you may know from my previous post, I made the choice to prioritize my life around my work in retail and my family in 2022. My training was not my priority and shifted my focus on work rather than training.

And in addition of that, when I tried to get back to the gym at the end of last year, I got injured discal hernia on L3, L4, L5 discs. Guys just don't be overconfident at the gym and warm up before. Kind reminder 😂
That means waking up everyday with pain on lower back and no gym for at least 3 months 🙃

That made me realize again how much health is important, that's crazy how we have to go through those experiences to realize our health value.

What did I do?
1. Started from a cut in calories for the 6 first week to lose belly fat then reverse diet to build muscles.

2. I designed a totally new workout considering my lower back pain. I couldn't lift heavy and especially couldn't do anything that stresses the spine.
Focus on my weaknesses (upper pecs for example)

3. I didn't restrict myself in terms of food to made the process enjoyable + I can't allow myself to lack energy at work as I have long days of work 😅. Unthinkable ! I did pay attention to my calories though.

So much can happen in 3 months: I was busy working, creating contents, went to travel, had new responsabilities...and restricting myself from eating what I love was just impossible. Work is enough hard, don't make eating an even harder task.😂

So yes I ate cooked whole foods for most of the time and chose well my meals, but during these 3 months I also had Mcdonalds, Starbucks, had my pizza, my cookie or kebab (stories)... and it didn't sabotage my results.

There are always improvements to do in my physique and the objective is not to have results after 3 month and then stop. The journey continues and my physique will still continue to improve as I developed sustainable habits.
This is a lifetime journey and you must learn how to enjoy the process if you want to make weightloss sustainable otherwise you will quit.

I made this post to show you that results depend on your priority and your will and I really hope this can get some motivation for those who need it🥰
