“It’s Paris. You Don’t Come Here For The Weather” - Adrian Leeds Group

📊 THE NUMBERS ARE IN: FRENCH PROPERTY MARKET IS SHIFTING.
Sales are picking up, but prices aren’t following. And that’s changing the game for buyers and sellers alike.
🔑 For buyers, the market is shifting in your favor

👉 In this week’s French Property Insider, we break down what this market means for you.

The French country house is making a comeback.
After two difficult years, buyers are returning to the French countryside. Sales jumped 15% in 2025, prices are rising again, and younger buyers are entering the market. International buyers remain an important factor, too.
🏡 Average country house price in France are €210,000, but locaton makes an enormous difference:
🌊 Alpes-Maritimes: €587,000
🌿 Creuse: just €80,000
🚆 Areas with easier access to cities and transportation are seeing some of the strongest activity
This issue of French Property Insider looks at what’s driving the comeback, where the market is strongest, and what it means if your dream of France extends beyond Paris and Nice.

Going through the process of moving to France doesn’t necessarily make someone a relocation expert. We share what to look for *before* you hire someone to help you create your new life in France:
*Personal experience and professional expertise are not the same thing.
*Real expertise comes from years on the ground, working through different situations and with many different clients.
*A true expert doesn’t sell you “Fantasy France.” They educate you, manage expectations, and sometimes tell you what you don’t want to hear if they think you might be taking a wrong turn.
Read what sets an expert apart in this Nouvellettre®.

If you’re planning to buy property in France, be prepared for a major culture shock. Nothing works the way you expect.
*There’s no MLS providing a complete view of the market.
*Buyer representation as Americans know it doesn’t exist.
*The process can move slowly.
*And negotiation isn’t always driven by the logic you’d expect.
That’s where we come in.
We don’t replace the French system—we translate it so you can navigate it successfully.
In this Nouvellettre®, we take a closer look at the differences that matter—and why we call what we do “French Property the American Way.”
