Sometimes, the best ideas come when you’re simply sitting still and listening to the waves 🌊…

This moment is the calm before the storm of new adventures I’m planning on the water. Just sitting here, feeling the breeze, and letting the possibilities come to me. Can’t wait to see where the paddleboard takes me next! 🏄‍♂️

What’s your next adventure? Any spots you think I should check out?

The water whispers before it roars.

For years, I didn’t listen! To my body, my mind, or the world around me.

I went to prison and in that silence, I finally heard myself.

The noise stopped, the distractions faded, and I learned what strength really means.

Strength isn’t just about fighting through the waves — sometimes it’s about standing still, breathing deep, and finding balance in the chaos.

Paddle boarding gave me that freedom again.

The same focus I once used to survive, I now use to move forward, one stroke at a time.

The upside?

A deeper respect for peace, purpose, and the power of second chances.

I’m treating this life like open waters unpredictable, humbling, and absolutely worth it. 🌊

5 powerful lessons from my adventures, from riding waves to climbing new heights 🌊🏔️

Every challenge became a chance to grow, adapt, and appreciate the journey.

MISSION COMPLETE ✅ (be aware of the graphic photos at the end, showing my sacrifice as a hero 😂)

I’m so proud of and I, we did it!

We successfully completed our mission to traverse the Stour Valley Way, covering 100km in under 24 hours.

The journey was far from easy, it tested us both physically and mentally.

Our bodies took a real beating, and my feet are definitely paying the price 😅.

Every step was worth it though, breathtaking views, peaceful solitude, and nature all around. We spotted so much wildlife and even made a few new friends… a whole herd of cows!

I was grateful for my 2 mums coming coming out to see us and I’d never been so happy to see the ‘Welcome To Bournemouth’ sign.

Most importantly I was doing this for 2 incredible causes: raising funds for Friends of Guys Marsh and , in honour of my friend Ann Davis Penson.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way and to the 42 amazing people who donated and helped me surpass my initial fundraising target. 🙏

If you’re able to help me reach £2,000 (£250 to go) it would mean the world (fundraising page in my bio)

Every contribution makes a difference. 💙

Some stats from the adventure:
• 🥾 118,000 steps
• 🔥 9,000 calories burned
• ⏱️ 23 hours total
• 😬 The worst blister I’ve ever had
• ❤️ Loved every moment

Thank you again for all your support it truly kept us going to the finish line.

If there’s one thing to take away from this, get outside, explore the world around you, and don’t be afraid to push your limits!

*WE’VE WON* - A year after it’s release our SUP film has won it’s second award, ‘People’s Choice Award’.

It was a bit of a rollercoaster making the documentary but Angus Peel & his team at never gave up and saw something in my story.

It covers my journey from a prisoner, to a world record holder and then an ocean activist.

I couldn’t be more proud and thank you to and for taking it on tour across the globe.

Thank you to all those who have watched it and if have not yet had the chance please comment ‘film’ if you would like to and I’ll send you the link.

*2024 COMPLETE* - This year, I made a childhood dream come true, becoming a full-time professional “athlete” and what an unforgettable journey it’s been!

One challenge every month achieved, two world records conquered, two awards, one fractured ankle sustained, countless kilometres covered and endless memories made. It’s been a rollercoaster of highs and lows, but every moment has continued to shape me.

A massive thank you to everyone who supported me along the way and for the generous donations to the charities I hold dear.

Pushing past my limits has been the ultimate gift—discovering not just what I’m capable of, but who I truly am.

As we step into 2025, remember: keep pushing, keep growing, and embrace life to the fullest.

Happy New Year and I can’t wait to share my exciting projects for the year ahead.

*CHALLENGE NUMBER 12 COMPLETED* - That’s a wrap and what a way to end the year! It was an amazing experience to SUP through Paris City Centre with the race!

Thank you to for loaning us the 22 foot Dragon board to complete this mission and for the accessories to keep me warm.

Also a big thank you to , & for making this one to remember!

I started the year in Paris so I clearly had to end the year in Paris and it didn’t disappoint!

It was great to make new friends, put names to faces, practice my French and thank you to all those the made me feel welcome!

*CHALLENGE NUMBER 11 COMPLETED* - To start my ‘Twelve 4 Twelve’ challenge (one big adventure a month) I cycled to Paris on a bike in January.

There was only one obvious way to end the year and that was to paddle board to Paris.

I left Le Havre and travelled 280km along the Seine to Saint-Denis in Paris in 3 days where I was pulled over by the police and could not carry on.

Despite paddling against the flow I enjoyed every aspect of the paddle, from living as a nomad sleeping in bushes to paddling through some beautiful French villages.

This paddle was difficult and really tested me as an endurance paddler but I came out the other end stronger, happier and with a new outlook.

I think we over complicate things in life so many times and we need to keep it simple. Since leaving prison paddling has taught me so much and this has made me so much stronger as individual.

Thank you to everyone for their support and for all the support to my local mental health charity I was supporting for this challenge!

Last night I had the honour of taking home the ‘Special Recognition Award’ at The Dorset High Performance Sports Awards hosted by

I didn’t have the opportunity to give a speech so I thought I would share my thoughts here.

Firstly I want to thank my 2 mums as none of this would have been possible without their support during my darkest times.

4 years ago I stepped out of prison with a vision of finding myself through the power of sport and adventure and never in my wildest dreams did I imagine my journey would take me to where I am today.

I am so proud of what I have achieved and the support I have offered to charity, whilst trying to push through the stereotypes and showing that anything is possible with the right determination and passion.

I have been at rock bottom in many different ways and one thing you need to remember is that the end is never the end! Just because you may have failed at something doesn’t make you a failure, we are the only ones who can control our own destinies to never give up and ‘Through Adventure We Live’.

Sport and adventure have saved my life and helped me understand myself so much more than any rehabilitation program I was forced to take whilst in prison and if it can do this for me then it can do it you you too!
