June Intentions ๐ค
This month is all about pouring back into me.
After getting a little too close to burnout last month, Iโve realised itโs time to slow down a bit, make myself a priority and focus on the things that make me feel good.
More yoga.
More time outside.
More time with family.
More reading.
More rest.
Less rushing.
Less pressure.
Less trying to do everything at once.
As much as I love being busy and chasing big goals, Iโve been reminded that wellness isnโt just about workouts and healthy eating. Itโs about looking after yourself mentally too.
Creating space to breathe.
Protecting your energy.
Building a life that feels good, not just one that looks productive.
That doesnโt mean the goals stop though ๐
Weโve got a HUGE fitness event coming up later this month and I honestly canโt wait. Itโs going to be such an incredible day bringing women together to move their bodies, challenge themselves, connect and have fun.
Because thatโs what health and wellness should be about.
Not punishment.
Not extremes.
Not chasing perfection.
Movement, community, confidence and enjoying life.

The older I get, the less I care about trying to look โperfectโ and comparing myself to others.
Donโt get me wrong, I care about my health and I care about how I look too. I want to feel good in my clothes and confident in myself. Who doesnโt? ๐คฃ
But Iโve spent enough years comparing myself to other women to know it gets you nowhere.
I have stretch marks. Lots of them. Quite literally covered but Iโve had them since I was 16 so they donโt actually bother me at all.
I have loose skin from the stretch marks, which I got through pregnancy and itโs quite literally all I see in the first photo. The fold of loose skin sitting over my bikini bottoms. Sitting on holiday in a bikini it doesnโt actually bother me but I wouldnโt post a photo of it because I donโt like it.
Whatโs funny is these photos were taken about 30 seconds apart. The only difference is I posed in the second one.
Same body. Same holiday. Same day.
A little reminder that photos donโt always tell the full story and people tend to only show their โbest bitsโ.
Life is too short to spend it picking yourself apart๐ค

But what makes me most proud of Claireโs progress isnโt just the weight lossโฆ
Itโs the consistency.Itโs the mindset shift.Itโs the fact she DIDNโT give up when progress felt slower than she wanted.

โจ Lost 19lbs
โจ Dropped inches all over
โจ Gone from barely running to completing a 10k
โจ Built confidence in the gym
โจ Improved her fitness massively
โจ Learned how to enjoy balance WITHOUT falling off track
Sheโs still had nights out, holidays, meals out and weekends awayโฆ but instead of letting one โoffโ day spiral into a bad week, she learned how to reset and keep going.
THAT is what sustainable progress looks like ๐

Little life update from me ๐ค
Last week my upper back completely spasmed and then my lower back went too at the weekend, leaving me barely able to walk and forcing me to actually slow down for a few days.
Honestlyโฆ itโs been so frustrating.
Mainly because I do all the things I should be doing to support my body.
I practice yoga and mobility most weeks.
I donโt overtrain anymore.
My running and training has scaled right back.
I get regular massages.
I eat well.
I look after myself.
But one thing that has been very high for the past few months is stress.
Iโve had issues with my back for years, but I genuinely think the tension and stress my body has been carrying has finally caught up with me and pushed me to breaking point ๐ซ
Whatโs ironic is that mentally I actually feel okay. Iโm quite resilient, I juggle a lot, I cope well and Iโm used to being busy. I rarely actually feel stressed although the past few months have been heavy.
But my body clearly has other opinions.
Running multiple businesses, being a one woman show most of the time, juggling life, motherhood, coaching, eventsโฆ and then throwing Pilates and yoga teacher training into the mix ๐
Itโs a lot.
This week has been a big reminder that looking after your health isnโt just about workouts and nutrition.
Your nervous system matters too.
Rest matters.
Switching off matters.
Slowing down matters.
Thankfully Iโve got an amazing group of girls at the gym whoโve stepped in to help, Paulโs taken a lot off my plate, and Iโve booked a flight for Sunday because honestlyโฆ I need to get away โ๏ธ
I need space.
Sunshine.
Time to breathe a little.
And going forward, I know I need to make some changes. Less juggling. Less trying to do everything. More protecting my energy and calming my nervous system instead of constantly being โonโ.
A little reminder that sometimes your body will force you to slow down before your mind realises you need to ๐ค
